Actually, that's how it should be in the special editions - it would put the emphasis entirely on the "meeting jabba in front of the falcon" scene, and make it more plausible along the way.

That is awesome. Kind of makes me wonder if someone should take this idea and do an edit of the trilogy where Han is grittier and cold blooded.
