Ever had one of those nights where your bladder keeps waking you up but then when you get to the bathroom you don't have to go?  I had to put of with that last night and now I am dead tired.

Fisher Price's IMAGINEXT line has three females in the entire huge toyline, and two of them are supervillains.  

I'm buying off brand Princess figures so my son and daughter can see there's not just males in the world. 

If they don't know that already(What with one of them being a female)you may be sending them to the wrong school.

I have to B*tch about tonight's Phillies game.  The Phillies were playing the Braves in Philly.   For the first 7 innings, the Phillies were ugly, just ugly.  They made all kinds of mistakes.  Yet entering the 8th the Phillies were only behind 1-2.  Then in the 8th they preceded to give up 3 consecutive home runes making the score the 1-5.   But then in the bottom of the 8th, somehow, the Phillies started hitting.  They loaded the bases and then Chase Utly hit two runs in making the score 3-5.  Then Dominic Brown hits a home run and the Phillies when aheand 6-5.  It looked like even though they were lousy for most the game, then were going to pull out a win.   But then comes the 9th inning.  Our usual closer Papelbon, was unavaille and so Diekman was puting to try to save the game.  He didn't come anywhere near close to saving it.  He loaded the bases. Then got struck one man out.  Then pow, grand slam home.  The Phillies lose 5-9.   *sigh*

SANDBERG! WHY DIDN'T YOU GET SOMEONE ELSE WARMING UP WHEN IT BECAME OBVIOUS THAT DIEKMAN DIDN'T HAVE IT!!?!!??!    WE HAD A WIN SERVED TO US ON A GOLDEN PLATE AND WE LET IT SLIP THROUGH OUR FINGERS!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

STUPID RASH! It itches so much it's painful and I can't sleep,always happens when pollen is in the air. I hate spring. I am so tired I am hardly able to move durring the day but I still itch too much to get to sleep. If I don't get a full eight hour soon i am going to snap and go on a killing spree.

Because all of those evil monsters on the other teams have been bribing reffs and drugging the gardoraid that is the only explanation for why The Packers and the Ravens have not won another Superbowl!!!! I really hate those guys!!

 Yeah I have been that way since I was two and yes it does suck and I have been to a lot of doctors and none of them can help. Oh and you know what really sucks,have you ever tried asking a girl out when your body is cover in a rash? yeah doesn't go over too well. That and a movement disorder that keeps me from being able to drive a car,good times.

Still it could be worse. I mean I am otherwise healthy and I have gotten to read a lot of good books and see a lot of films.  Still if there is one thing I would change about myself it is this rash,that and I would lose about one hundred pounds.

and why pick on Phillies fans?  You think a Yankee fan or a Red Sox fan  would react any better to losing a game like that?  Why are Philadelphia sports fans picked on more than other teams.   There are bad sports fans in every city.  This idea that Philadelphia fans are is an exaggeration.

If you want to see sports fans filled with hate, go to Europe and observe some of the fútbol hooligans.  Some of those guys are truly full of hate.

I'm not a sports fan in any way shape or form, so that may explain my difficulties understanding fanaticism.  Frankly, if you can get that invested in a sports team, good for you.  Just not my scene.

Ubuntu is pretty good, but it has a more limited number of programs than Windows. I had it for a couple years and was quite happy with it.

While we're on the topic of sports, why do sports players get paid so much money!? Apparently the minimum wage in the NHL is $500,000 per year. $500,000!!! I also find it disgusting that millions after millions of dollars are spent on sports arenas funded by tax dollars, when the money could be used so much more productively. If they're going to build a new arena, they should use money from people's tickets, not raise people's taxes.

They get so much money, because the owners are willing to pay that much money.   They owers have that much money and are will to pay that much money because the owners can make that much money off of the players.  It all comes down to how many people watch on tv(which determines how much sponsers are willing to pay for ads during the broadcast which deternines how much the stations and networks are willing to pay for the broadcast), and how much people are willing to pay for tickets to see the games live and the apparel and what not.  

I too do not like taxes going to the sports arenas.  I think the owners should foot the bill for new stadiums.  Unfortunatly, there are always citys/areas without a team willing to pay for the stadium to lure a team there.   Sports teams can have a positive effect on the local economy.

I say just pass a federal law making it a crime for tax dollars to fund entertainment then cities can't built arenas with tax payer dollars,problem solved.

I always feel ill when i hear about tax dollars going to one of those things. People who make fifty thousand a year are paying higher taxes so people who make twenty million a year for playing a child's game can have a nicer place to play it in. Meanwhile every school and police department in the country is underfunded. hey you may not be able to add one and two together and you will most likely be mugged on the way home from work but at least the local sports team has a nice place to play!

That's a good use of tax payer dollars.
