The British Empire can go and choke on a bag of cocks.

Entire populations were wiped out because of these fake Christians.

And also, shoutout to the Norman douchebags for giving England feudalism.

I hate conformity. I hate the establishment. I hate how the first prime minister of Australia was a goddamn white supremacist.

I hate how most of the world has been heavily influenced by these fuckwads.

Also fuck the caste system. The east still has horrible customs, but the west still ravaged the world.

Fuck this. I wanted to be a fish

It doesn’t matter where you go, humans will always find a way to be horrible to each other.

Well you definitely wouldn’t have been freshwater. You’re way too salty for that.

I’ve listened to the back-catalogue of 80s and 90s music so much I’ve become numb to them whenever they play on the radio.

The only music I don’t apparently tire of is 2000s music.

HELP.

I hate it when people are too simple-minded to consider historical context for events of the past.

I hate it when people today judge people of the past by today’s standards.

I hate it when people don’t consider how the future might look upon the present day with condemnation, and if today’s people could only speak to those future judges, they would try to explain how we were just trying to navigate our way through the world based on our limited understanding.

I hate it when people think entirely in black and white, either/or, all-good or all-bad.

I hate it when people use excessive foul language.

I hate it when someone has to make the majority of their forum posts something dramatic and/or self-pitying in what seems to be an obnoxious attempt to get attention.

I hate it when someone paints Europeans, whites, or Christians as the only perpetrators of evil in this world.

I hate it when people use the word “rape” to add weight to lousy arguments about how horrible things are without considering the real horror that rape is and how it cheapens its meaning when it is misapplied.

I hate it when those who proclaim to hate haters can still be so preoccupied with hating them.

I like having a place to come and complain, as well as reading others’ complaints, but I hate having to read the rants of individuals who feel the bulk of the thread should be dedicated to their own hyperbolic griping about everything.

I do hate racism and think it has caused a lot of evil in this world. I am deeply saddened by the evil that has been committed in the past by racists, supposed Christians, and so forth, but I also hate the similar crimes committed by other groups throughout human history, such as the Islamic conquest of Northern Africa and the Middle East.

I understand that people are ultimately simpletons, and that only the collective learning of the entirety of humanity over millennia will lead us to avoid the evils of the past. We don’t have to celebrate past genocides and such, but we can also accept that the people of the day didn’t understand all that humans do today, nor do we have to hate those of the past for their ignorance. I understand that most religions (and even atheist societies), peoples, and political ideologies have had extremely militaristic iterations at some point or other throughout history, have conquered and destroyed other peoples and cultures, and that it doesn’t do much good to pin all the world’s evil on a particular group. Such broad strokes are just another form of bigotry, after all. I like to recognize that no one in this world is completely bad, but also that no one is completely good, and that we all have room for improvement. I believe that as humans collectively learn to love and accept one another more, even learning to love those who may have done some pretty horrible things in their past, that we will eventually become a better race of beings and will all live happier lives.

Oh god I’m sorry Darth Ender , I won’t do that anymore.

I just hate where I grew up. Europe is, in reality, a beautiful place with rich culture, including Christianity.

I actually hate my mental illnesses for making me be like this.

I still hate my mental illness.

Hey, I should apologize to you. While I feel it is good to encourage you to say things differently, I was pretty rude about it. I’m sorry.

I specialize in mental health, but I have only read a few of your posts and didn’t realize you struggled with mental health issues. I should show you more kindness and patience.

If I can offer you a piece of heartfelt advice, don’t let your mental illness define you you this way. It may make it easier to think such negative thoughts, but you have the power to change such thoughts!

I appreciate your effort to be more optimistic, and I promise I will try to do better in helping you with your struggles!

I agree I was excessively faultfinding what I was so depressed about. I still despise conservatives because they dictate how to live my life.

And the majority of people in my place is white, and of British descent. When I said ‘rape’ the world, I meant it as in ravage. I did indeed misuse it.

In short, I am in a very bad place and am surrounded by middle aged conservatives of British descent and blame the west for my suffering, and try to cope by exalting the East, by also being brainwashed by liberals to have a warped view on society. Biden may have lots of bad qualities, but AT LEAST he doesn’t deny CLIMATE CHANGE, so he’s SLIGHTLY better than Trump, who is at least slightly better than Hillary, who is at least slightly better than Bush, who is slightly better than Woodrow, who is at least slightly better than Buchanan.

I just wish I grew up in a more liberal town.

I’m ruined.

Thanks, you stupid geezers.

Instead of seeing it as a negative thing, you could see it as a great opportunity to learn how conservatives think, and get to understand them better. Politely try to figure out why they believe what they believe, and feel free to disagree, but also recognize that they have way more life experience than you and their beliefs didn’t develop in a vacuum.

Burger King is pretty good. Not sure if I prefer it over Wendy’s or not. Both are better than McDonalds.

I really hate memes that make fun of people with disabilities, especially Down’s Syndrome. Portraying them as dumb, using the r-word, and using bad English is just the ableist internet equivalent of a minstrel show. It’s horrible.

Offensive memes can be done RIGHT, such as ‘dead baby comedy’, just don’t make fun of the target group.

Also, I used to browse Wojak and Chad memes, and was hit by transphobic and anti-Semitic memes. Fuck a quarter of the internet.

I hate all the bullshit surrounding so calling feminist agendas in media or gender politics in casting. The very fact that it’s 2021 and it is still unusual for women to be the focus of a movie and not be overtly sexualised is wild. I hate misogyny, I hate misogynistic behaviour and I’m sick of misogynistic fanboys gatekeeping and kicking off about female leads.

Honestly, I would far prefer that these toads would just own their misogyny and say " I hate Captain Marvel because I have a problem with a story about empowered women" than bitch and moan about how Disney’s “so called feminist agenda” is ruining all that is sacred blah blah blah.

They won’t, because they are cowards, and if they did I’d still fucking hate them but I’d at least be grateful they aren’t trying to use a smokescreen to mask their heartfelt prejudices.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike Captain Marvel (I personally really enjoy it but it definitely has flaws that irk me as do most MCU films) but if your anger is steming from a hatred of a woman get wrecked you big dumb baby.

Feel free to replace Captain Marvel with the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Ghostbusters, Charlie’s Angels, Thor: Love and Thunder or any other female led project that has angered the great unwashed man-childen of the world.

Yeah. Sorry for the boast but I didn’t give a fuck about Rey’s gender from Star Wars when I saw it.

I also HATE when a man has a female friend, they’re expected to be in a romantic relationship, which is annoying as bollocks. This also applies to media, and dehumanises women MORE.

I also remember my rant on the sexualisation of women. I know men have been sexualised, but its more often women, likely due to the male dominated culture. And my constant whining about Bond girls was stupid because there are plenty of women in Bond films that aren’t sexualised.

And speaking of that, if there’s anything worse than casual misogynists, it’s radical feminists that give feminism a bad name, which is one of the main causes of modern misogyny.

By the way, growing up in a small town, with barely any friends, I always liked films with a male lead because it was more ‘relatable’. Luckily, I am no longer like this.

Please don’t use that term. Use the term radfem to describe extreme feminists. They are toxic but the are in no way comparable to Nazis.

Using that term intentionally demonises the feminist movement while simultaneously undermining the plight of millions upon millions of people at the hands of genuine Nazis.

I don’t believe you intended to do so but you can actively choose to not use that term henceforth.

You don’t need to apologise, just stop using it.

Sure. I agree, there is inherent sexualisation of women throughout society AND there are societal expectations that negatively impact the acceptance of platonic relationships between genders. Its not okay and as a father and a partner I do what I can to challenge them and raise my daughter in a positive way

Yep. You’re a genuinely good person and we need more people like you.

I also hate how lesbians are incredibly sexualised by ignorant straight men, to the point where people’s perception of lesbians gets distorted, and even then being discriminated against because in modern society, women are expected to be attractive and have a male partner.

It is appalling. And not ALL gay men are feminine in any way. And not all lesbians are masculine.

I also hate religious fundamentalism.

REMOVED

I used to hate modern culture and think the past was better because of some stupid culty religious group. And thought ANY sexualisation of women was bad.

I hate gender roles, and what’s worse is when I say that, I look like a radical feminist and imagine what is called a SJW (not 100% sure if that’s an okay term).

Well done, America. Well done.

Spuffure I fully agree with you on the preconceived notions about sexualities and the lazy stereotypes that come with that. I also agree that the fetishizing of lesbians is gross and damaging.

I feel your use of the term “normal” is very problematic. I’m a teacher and work predominantly with women of colour many of whom are Muslims and I’m offended by your previous message. I’m also a staunch atheist which I’m stating merely for context.

Implying that any faith needs to change to fit your “normal” is really not ok. You are obviously not a Muslim or a Jewish person so what gives you the right to tell others how to worship? Saying “Islam can be more progressive” is tacitly saying “I personally want a faith I am not part of to change to make me feel better”. That’s no different than a religious extremist saying “death to the infidels”.

You make your opposition to Islam clear by not being a follower of the faith. And stop with the histrionics, you are absolutely welcome to condemn the actions of individuals and you can be critical of how faiths do things but the way you are phrasing things IS Islamaphobic. I wonder how many Muslims you’ve spoken to about their perception of their life within their religion?

You feel all Islam should change (because you, a non-Muslim, say so). They should change because they aren’t “normal”. How many of my students need to change? How many are not “normal”? How do you decide when something crosses the line? Is it “normal” to pretend you are eating the body of Christ or is it “normal” to choose to cover your head as a sign of respect? The moderate Muslims of the world far outweigh those who hold extremist views.

You’re not the global arbitrator of what is “normal”; no one is. Just live your life, you’re the master of your own destiny. Religious freedom is important and I’ll defend the rights of others to worship despite choosing not to worship personally.

EDIT: It’s frustrating you edited your post to say “equal” not “normal” but I appreciate you saw the problematic nature with that language and choose to change it.

Eh, no offence but anyone who uses ‘SJW’ unironically in the year 2021 loses all their credibility for me. I don’t know if you’d offend anyone by using it, but it’s really become a staple of comments made by butthurt fanboys when complaining about agendas and trying to disguise their own bigotry.

I’m not at all trying to say that this is you, I’d just warn you off using it.

I think there’s definitely an SJW “type” that tends to be very intolerant of anything not “progressive” and engages heavily in virtue signalling, without having a solid rational basis for their views. The term probably gets overused, but so does any derogatory word, especially ones with political connotations. Those who use “SJW” for anyone who holds liberal or left-wing views are just being unfair.
