In nursing school you must get an 80% or better to pass. I just took my third of four exams yesterday, and for the third time scored under 80%. Unless I can really bring it up with fourth test and the final exam, I will not pass this semester. I'm very sad about it. I studied so hard for yesterday too :(

They give you the option of doing a different job or delivering it via a peddle operated cycle or voting for a politician who will change the law or breaking the law and making a principled stand.

sorry to hear, darth_ender. Good luck on the 4th test and the final exam. If you don't get 80% or higher, can you try again next semester?

An old friend of mine, now a famous Doctor scraped through his exams with a minimal passing score of 51% on his second attempt.
Thanks guys. I do appreciate the kind words. Yes Warbler, if I fail this semester, I can retake it next Spring, but...I only get one second attempt. If I fail then, I have to settle for being an LPN or try to get into a different nursing program at another school.

Apparently my friend from back home has the same long-lasting symptoms I've had from whatever the hell sickness I had. We're still getting annoying pain in the gums and some serious pain when we swallow. Sounds like one of us passed it to the other 3 weeks ago when I last went back to LA! No point playing the blame game, though. Just wish I could figure out WHY it's still bugging me...

Not to tar everybody with the same brush, but usually if they're hot, they're not really the talking type. Most they can manage with their two braincells is "Polly wanna cracker" or words to that effect. And that won't be a nice evening for me.
Nope, solved the conundrum, last night after seeing a play with a couple of friends from uni I went on a date with Miss Martini and Mr. Rusty Nails.

1. there is no way I could go whole days without eating. And if I did I probably wouldn't feel like having beer afterwards.
