Lately, I've had a painful lump in my left earlobe. I get these quite often, it seems, and usually they disappear after a couple days. This one didn't go away, though, and instead sat there for about a week, becoming an uncomfortable annoyance. So last night I decided to try draining it.

Taking one of my mother's diabetes blood-tester needle dealies, I jabbed my earlobe multiple times, in front and in back. The pus didn't flow out, unfortunately, choosing to just sit in there. I managed to coax it all out after multiple squeezes, though.

Today my earlobe is flat but sore as hell.

It pisses me off when people take their criticisms off-site because it's such a fucking cowardly thing to do since it allows you to pretend you're on the moral high-ground as a spectator, but makes it difficult for the people you're criticizing to defend themselves or even figure out that they need to defend themselves.

FWIW, I'll share this post with this individual so that he has the opportunity to defend himself here. I don't want to be a hypocrite.

 Sometimes I'm glad I don't care about 95% of the preservations here.

I can't seem to find any of the [REC] movies on Region 1 Blu-ray.

I've been getting the blue screen of death at least once a day for the last week or so. Hopefully I can figure out what's going on soon, because it's getting incredibly frustrating. I've already checked for viruses, and that's a negative. Right now I'm running on safe mode, and hopefully that'll help me narrow things down.

Forgive the dumb question, but what does "3rd party" mean in this context? I'm no computer nerd; I know little more than how to use my computer.... A quick Google search failed to answer my question.

Ah, OK. If you mean I should check to see if any are out of date, I haven't done that yet. I guess I probably should.
