I have good new and bad news.

The bad news is I have not made any progress on this dew largely to a heavy work life. For this I'm am sorry to all those expecting this project to be finished a lot sooner. Or finished at all as the case may be.

The very good news, is that IF, for the first time ever, will be officially released for the first time on dvd!!! And as a Criterion Collection release no less!! The print will be a new, restored high-definition digital transfer (probably the UK cut which as I said before is just slightly different from the US). btw, the claim is that it's "presented in its original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.66:1." Commentary from Malcolm McDowell. Some interviews from cast and crew. As well as Thursday’s Children, a 1954 documentary directed by Linsey Anderson. So there you have it, it doesn't get any better then that. The release date is June.

Again I'm sorry for not completing this a long time ago but perhaps there will still be something to release. Perhaps the "US" version by itself. I would like to thank everyone's support for this. Will Tasker, thanks for your copy of the track from the film.

That's great news Focus puller. I was personally looking forward to this project, but one can't complain about a criterion release! Any links would be great.

What’s the internal temperature of a TaunTaun? Luke warm.

I know this might be necro-posting, but having seen the release featured in the latest criterion newsletter I wanted to post the link here:
