Idea for converting analog to digital
To explain my Idea I will be using a VCR and a dazzle for ’ reference
You may want to use some other converter than dazzle or make your
own in this case but that’s not the point
Also this may work on Laserdisc if it even works at all.
I do not fully know what I am talking about but bare with me.
The way we do it now, to convert analog to digital.
You have a VCR some Cables a dazzle and a Computer.
The analog signal has to go through the VCR heads than to
the VCR’s circuit board out through the VCR’s Cables in to
the dazzle through the dazzle’s circuit board out the dazzle’s
USB Cable and in to the Computer.
My thought is this combine the VCR’s circuit board and the
dazzle’s circuit board.
This would require a working VCR for the heads , motors
and every thing that holds and spins the tape .You still may
need to save some chips from the VCR But if you ware to
do this you may want to build your own circuit board.
To simplify this you would take a blank circuit board
And solder the chips and stuff from the VCR and the dazzle to
it so that you bypassed the in put and out put on the VCR and dazzle.
And had a VCR with USB or fire wire out.
This may work for Laserdisc to you would need a working
Laserdisc player for the Laser motors and every thing that
holds and spins the disk.
