Well I know that I want the first movie to feature child Anakin (I know, I know) I really think this is necessary show Vader's character arc-- the good side of his character- Young, innocent, and smart.
About halfway through I want to transition to teenage mullet Anny from AotC. This will end at the end of attack of the clones.
I'm trying to think of ways to have transitional periods between ages. Any ideas?
The second movie start with Anakins downfall and transition to the ANH. Darth Vader will still be fresh in everybody's mind and if I edit the first part correctly he will be even more menacing . The movie will end with the death star exploding. I thought of a cool transitional shot between Revenge and New Hope. We have a wide shot of Coruscants decay -Like those fast forward videos of a city landscape when the sun sinks and the moon rises. We have a wide shot of Coruscants decay. We will see buildings being disassembled and pollution clouds filling the atmosphere.
The third movie is Empire and Return of the Jedi. I need some ideas to get things flowing. This is for real. In the next few days I will post some color correction samples comparing the old trilogy with the new.
I would like some input on the story flow. Everything I just wrote is probably going to change as the bball starts rolling. I was just so sick of the prequels that I figure if I could edit it so it consistently flows into the OT it wouldn't be so bad. Its also good to save the best for last.
I'm using Vegas for some color correction and editing, Adobe Photoshop for further touching up and Fruityloops for audio mixing. I hope to post a teaser trailer within the next week.
