Idea: The Fall of the Roman Empire - a VHS to DVD preservation?

As far as I know, The Fall of the Roman Empire is currently not out on DVD. Amazon lists an old copy, but I have no idea of the condition of the print and so forth. I have a VHS copy of it recorded from TCM and I was wondering if it would be worth it to anyone if I attempted to get it to DVD.
