yes but those images in the links provided are from the already released DVD/BD
the article saying "take a look at the Event Horizon you didn't see" is misleading because those images ARE in the film
you can see additional footage here (from the bonus features of the BD / DVD) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK1debnXYlA
if you want to see UNSEEN footage, try looking for the original EPK's ;)
there was additional footage of Justin discovering the Gravity Drive (snippits of dialogue and shots of him being wowed by the complexity of it)
there was also behind the scenes footage of this scene

plus, Anderson cut the gore back to give it a "less is more" effect as explained in Fangoria #170
"While the story revolves around a space rescue team having their worst terrors turned against them...Anderson wanted to avoid having the film become "pedantic" by skirting over this issue in some of the characters...Cooper,for instance, was losing someone close to him, which is represented in the movie by the unfortunate accident that claims Justin...Justin also lost some backstory that provided a stronger explanation for why he enters the ship's strange vortrex...The feelings that Stark has for Capt. Miller are also glossed over in the final cut...Other trims included a detailed explanation for the gateway & the black hole, which Anderson thought confused the test audiences. another lost moment was written by Seven scribe Andrew Kevin Walker and involved a subtle homage tp 2001:A Space Odyssey...cutting down the gore was not a major issue..."My feeling about gore is that if you hold on to it for too long, for the first second it looks great, the second its not scary, the third you start noticing that someones intestines look a bit like rubber and by the fourthit's by God,they ARE rubber."...don't expect the missing 1/2 hour to appear anytime soon on DVD..."
Perhaps the most visceraly promising film of last summer Paramonts SF/horror entry....though it never lived up to the 'event" part which many put the blame on it's truncated running time of 95mn-trimmed from a 2 hour rough cut!
It also mentions that the theatrical version was how PA wanted it & felt th tight editing kept the suspense & story moving forward. (Though you never know today if this is the truth or not)
Some of the cuts....
The greatest fear of Cooper(Richcard T. Jones) was loosing someone close to him, which is represented in the film by the unfortunate accident that claims Justin.
(PA wanted to"skirt" over these issues with some charecters so it would'nt become "pedantic")
Justin also had some backstory + a stronger explanation for why he enters the strange vortex.
The feelings that Starck has for Capt. Miller were also glossed over in the final cut
A much longer & detailed explanation for the gateway & black hole which PA felt confused the hell out of test audiences because it offered "to much" extra info.
A homage to 2001.....when the crew first enters the ship.....there was a floating tooth with a single shot of the bone still attached. So instead of the space station turing in 2001,it was this tooth!
The gore was also cut down though was'nt a major issue for the diretor who felt that shortening cutting away really fast has a stronger impact.
