Want a movie with great laughs, a movie that deals with teen issues without being corny or cheesy, or maybe you just want to see sexy women in little or no clothing. If your any of these people The Girl Next Door is for you. Its an excellent classic movie thats just as sexy as it is funny. I loved that movie. If you haven't seen it. Go see it right now. Stop reading and see it. You will not regret it.

Haven't seen it yet. Didn't even know if it was still showing because I don't think it's at my local theater anymore.

Hey there!
I saw it. I kinda liked it, it's really funny at moments and it's somewhat different from all those American Pie and similar movies. Was just really annoyed that Eliza Cuthbert's character is only there to be looked at and to unleash the action, she doesn't do much in the second part of the movie.
But yeah, all in all it was cool.

I think it is a damn shame that The Girl Next Door didn't do well. It did everything right. I expected Elish Cushbert to be a dumb Kelly Bundy character but she turned out to be intellegent. I could also relate to Matt very well and how he reacts to the zanny situations.

Yes it has. I saw it in the theature. Don't rent it you have to see Elish Cushbert take off her clothes on the big screen. Don't rip it thats stealing.

Its a Wonderful Life was also a flop when it came out. Now its considered a classic. I think The Girl Next Door will eventually be considered a classic. While its R rating will prevent it from becoming a family viewing like Its a Wonderful Life I think the teens of the future will always remember The Girl Next Door.

DUDe it is truely great i went to is not know what withw as even about. my friend and i missed a different movie the day we went to see. all we knew was that it was a comedy, neither of us had read anything about it or saw the trailer. man was it good. i have dicided to that from now on i will not longer watch any trailers for movies and see movie completely cold.

I saw it because of the trailers. Elish Cushbert was the reason I saw it. She looked so fine in the trailers. I went to see it expecting a teen sex romp. It turned out to be so much more then that. While it had enough girl eye candy to keep me happy it actually had characters I could enjoy and comedy that was not funny but hilarious.

There are many movies that technically "flop" in theaters but do great on home video. Cult followings. Office Space and Shawshank Redemption just to name a couple. Yes, despite it's Oscar noms, Shawshank was considered a box office dud.

I hated Out Cold when I saw it in theaters. But several months ago, it was all over cable and I started watching it again and I really get a kick out of it now. I have Equilibrium near the top of my Netflix Queue (as is, it would seem, everything else).
