I can't insert a banner onto my site! Help!

I have a website at geocities.com, and I was trying to insert one of those nifty OT.com banners to the bottom.

But the "pagebuilder" program it uses won't let me.

Please help me support the OT.com petition!

the site is www.geocities.com/kirkshelton2005/kirks_web_page.html if that helps at all.

1- Upload any of the banner images to your geocities account.

2- Write the following HTML code:

<a href="http://www.originaltrilogy.com" target="_blank"><img src="HERE YOU PUT THE NAME OF THE FILE" border="0"></a>


3- Disco dance!

I'm sure you didn't forget the disco dancing part, eh?

Uh seems to me you linked the image file to your computer. Look at the source code, it's linked to the "My Documents" folder. You need to upload the image into your geocities account, and then link it like this: <img src="ot.gif" border="0"> - or else it will not appear to anyone who is not using your computer.

Seems to me you corrected the image link, but still, the file is not on you geocities folder. Did you copy the right file, into the right place?

Maybe see if Geocities placed it in an images folder instead of the higher level folder.

Make sure you use the extension at the end of the image (.jpg/.gif) and you use the quotation marks. Very important in HTML.
