I have remained true to my word, but I have now seen it due to an unscrupulous friend with connections to the Dark Side. That is all I will say about that.

I thought the film was better than Clones, but that is it. TPM is still the best of the PT IMHO.

I.....have failed. I fell to the darkside today...I saw EP III. The temptation was just too great I thought I could keep away but I was wrong. I am weak and pathetic. I feel ashamed.

Warbler there's no big deal in seeing ROTS... Petitions, letters, and media atention, that's the way to get what we want, not boycotting a prequel movie...

Don't beat yourself up over it. I've quit trying to justify my minor financial support of the PT. We're geeks- what can we say. GL will do what he will; he is his own king.

I think you owed it to yourself as a fan to see it at least once in the theater. Best case scenario- you find out you like it and are glad you went. Worst case scenario- you find you hated it and now have something to bitch to us about. Or, you're somewhere in between.

No harm no foul. We all know your heart is in the right place....

Well, I'm still sticking with my plan. I will not pay for anything Lucas puts out until he puts out the original movies on DVD. I will see the movie when my local theater allows me to use a free pass. They already have a sign saying they will start taking passes on June 19th. I realize this will not hurt Lucas financially, nor does he care what his original fans have to think. It is a personal matter of principle. I know that I can hold out until for a month because I've turned this into a competition. If I pay to see the movie or have someone else pay for me, Lucas wins. If I sneak in or see it illegally, Lucas and Satan(assuming they are two seperate entities) win. If I don't see it in the theaters, I lose. If I wait until I can use the free pass, I win.
