How to make AVCHD Bluray DL DVD's from raw .ts files

after seeing such great work on ANH and ESB,and Raiders of The Lost Ark,I really want to give this a shot myself,so anyone here that can help me figure out how to do these,I would be EXTREMELY greatful,and ofcourse I will upload them for all interested.

Now what I have are the raw .ts files in HD,most are in DD 5.1,some of the older ones like Sheena are DD 2.0,they range from 15-25 GB's in size,and really look amazing,these obviously were my source for my HD2DVD projects.

So how do you guys IVTC these files and set them up for the AVCHD Bluray DVD's?

Here are some of the titles I would like to do and share:

Sheena,The Gate,King Kong 1976,Night of The Creeps,Night of The Comet,The Monster Squad,Child's Play,The Legend of Billie Jean,Death Wish 1-3,Candyman,Cherry 2000,Howard The Duck,From Beyond,Jason and The Argonauts and a whole lot more.

So please anyone with any guides or helpful info,what programs I will need, please do not be shy and comment on it.

Thanks a bunch Ady for the links,that is some great reading,I am trying a sample now and got a mod16 error or something like that,so I have to keep trying,I am just messin with a small 100mb chunk of the HD .ts file for starters.

good luck is what I need,I am still having 1 HELL of a time getting this to work,if I could just get it to work once,I will have it down.

I have alot of HD files to make some pretty darn good projects out of to.

dark_jedi, do you know if your hidef version of KING KONG '76 differs at all from the French (?) HD-DVD? I ask because it may be a preferable source to your HDTV one.

Also, do you have the HDTV broadcast of ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK? I got the whole thing (~13GB) off usenet some months back. Its infinitely superior to the horrible SD-upscaled blu ray release from Optimum. See?

Damn I wish I would have found that Escape From New York file,and I am not sure if there is a difference in the King Kong 76 releases or not,is Escape still available?

You'd need a Giganews or Astraweb account to fetch it. Astraweb's retention is only 160 days but they will be upgrading to 270 days in the near future.

Alternatively, shoot me a PM if you'd like my help in getting a copy.

Thanks Griff but I found it earlier today and already have it now,this would make another great AVCHD release,now if I could just figure it out.
