Shunt to Mudchute landing on Community Chest which reads :
Speaking of Barry, I recently read that a sniper tried to assasinate him. Luckily the bullet hit Barry’s wallet... and missed his heart by eight miles.
Damn! Bank was an obvious play on reflection, I'm kicking myself for not spotting it before you. I guess I'll have to resort to... Arnos Grove.

Shunt to Mudchute landing on Community Chest which reads :
Mudchute? You've made that up! I'd never stoop to such an obvious and low down double entendre. My next move will be...

and at this festive time of year let us not forget the motto of The Turkey Breeders Association: "Norfolk & Good".
and also the motto of the same counties' Society Of Norfolk Bakers: "100 Years In Bread"

Talking of Canada The first ever commercial flights from British soil began in Wolverhampton in 1862 when Henry Coxwell began his hot-air balloon service to London. In addition, Coxwell flew charter passengers to Holland, Ireland, Spain, Norway and India...before realising that the wind direction kept changing.
Gosh, I don't understand the rules at all. I jump in, draw my first card, and it reads, "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter... +3 defense against ninja attacks; +6 against succubi temptations."
Man, you're going to have to help me with this :(
Rules and Origins by N.F. Stovold is your friend.
I have the abridged version. Now it all makes sense. Well, I'd like to make an accusation then: Señor Villamos in the Medicine Cabinent with the Valium!
All the versions are abridged (speculation as to the contents of the mysterious missing pg23 is almost a sport in itself).
My favorite rumor is that it was a centerfold of the Iron Lady herself before the censors got to it, located every copy of the book (which had just shipped to stores), and physically removed page 23 from the book. Strange that somehow page 24 remained.
In any case, do you wish to make a counter accusation, or do you cede your onion harvest?
Doubtful... it depends on which Iron Lady as the book is very old. There are unconfirmed rumours that an unabridged copy is held in a University library in Massachusetts.
If you find yourself in that part of the world it may be worth looking into it and perhaps mastering the legendary Dexter Ward gambit.

...first I notice from the more than 20,000 envelopes we received this week, we've been entered into the Reader's Digest Prize Draw, and that there's a postcard from a Mrs. Trellis of North Wales. She writes:
Dear Mr Mandela,
That big statue in Trafalgar Square looks nothing like you.
Yours sincerely, Mrs. Trellis

Waterloo
Seeing as that's the home of the British Film Institute, let's take a moment to consider all the great prequels there have been in film history such as...
"The Empire Considers Its Response"
"Begin Camping"
"Bit Of An Atmosphere On The Bounty"
and of course
"One Of Our Aircraft Is... Here"

Penge West.
St. John's Cottages on Maple Road were built as almshouses in 1863, designed by the architect Edwin Nash. On New Years Day 1959 No.8 was destroyed by a gas explosion killing one person on the spot. The noise was so alarmingly discordant that several people died of fright and many residents were treated for noxious inhalations.
Which reminds me Colin will be providing the music for Barry's vegetarian buffet.
