Well, I myself didn't really fully appreciate the value of the knight on such a small board till these last two games. It really is an effective weapon.

I didn't want to imitate your move, but losing a rook or a bishop isn't worth it.
I should head off to bed now, so I'll continue playing tomorrow.
And Twister, what's taking you so long? ;)
Head to bed. I'm sure you have school tomorrow. When you get back, I again suggest you take your move back. Your parallel of my move doesn't save either your bishop or your rook, and I'd probably prefer to take your rook. I suggest you at least help your rook escape.
It doesn't?...hmm, I don't seem to be able to make any good moves this game. Just to make sure I'm looking at the same board you are, how will you take my rook if I leave it like this? I must be overlooking something, but I can't figure it out. :P
I think I misunderstood your intent. When you said you'd take your second option, I thought you must have meant that you didn't want to take back your move, but instead hoped to counter mine. Now I think you must have meant that such was your second choice of move. If that is correct, I played the game through as you intend, and now I play S-5d

Yes, sorry I wasn't very clear.

To clarify, do you mean continuing from where I am without any backtracking, or continuing from my replacement move? Also, I'm guessing you meant G-5d, as that's what would make the most sense with what I'm seeing. If you meant G-5d, continuing from where I was (which makes your move turn 7), then my move is S-4b.
Here I put my Silver on 5e, and thus it's the only piece that could move to 5d. Perhaps we should start over, as I think we are a little confused.
Oops, I guess I mixed up my generals. Well, if you think we should start over, I'm OK with that, though I think I've sorted everything out now. My move remains the same if you want to continue from here.
Okay, we can try to keep it going. Below is a little diagram of our board as it presently stands, according to my board:
-b---k
r-s-gp
---n--

P----R
KG--B-
From here, I think I will move R-5e

Good, we're on the same page now.

Glad to hear it. :)

*sigh*, (probably) better to lose my silver general than my bishop.

Doh, I should have seen that coming! Well, I guess my best option is to move right back. R-6b
Sorry buddy. I had you pretty stuck at that point.

Yeah, and I don't see any way of rescuing my bishop either.

Don't fret yet. I'm not sure the situation is as bleak as you think.

Sorry I couldn't either. I had a basketball tournament today.
