Please visit my website www.battlestarfanfilms.com which I have started to showcase the works of others in making original trilogyBattlestar Galactica fanfilms.

I like many, am an avid follower of the original series, and hope that one day it will return as a Continuation. DVD sales of the original series box set were strong, the cast are willing, and the fanbase are still hopeful.

Don't you mean TOS purists ?

(TOS = The Original Series & GINO = Galactica in Name Only)

I find it odd that on a board about preserving the original trilogy of Star Wars, my wish to further the original series of BSG would not be respected ?

Yeah, a new member advertising their own website. The original series is not in need of preserving, hence it's official release on DVD. Maybe you should go talk to someone who cares, like, I don't know, ILM, who if I recall correctly sued Glen Larson for trying to crib their effects. And yes, a GINO purist is someone who is vehemently opposed to the new show, like you are as explained on your silly website. I could go into a long explanation of why the things you stated on there are so off-base, but it's not worth the time and effort, especially for someone so arrogantly set in their ways as you are.

See, this site might be up in arms if the orginal Battle Star Galactika series was being ingored... But it's not. There are two completely independent canons that are both getting equal respect in DVD treatment as far as I know. This is not like the OOT versus the SE.
