Sorry, first post here. I have the VHS tapes of these but no working vcr, and was wondering what are some good fan preservations of these versions?

There are some digital TV (non-HD, but pretty nice) recordings called "G'kar" (German) and "TB" (Scandinavian). To my untrained eye, the G'kar looks very marginally better, but it has a German crawl and alien subtitles (for IV and VI).

I've also heard of a "Reivax" version of IV, but don't know what it is.

The nicest looking version is the Team Blu bluray upscale based on those first two recordings I mentioned. They've got their own thread for it. Only IV is out so far.

Harmy also did a "Respecialized" Edition, which is the 1997 SE, for ANH. I don't know if he's intending on doing the same for ESB and ROTJ, though.

That would be very cool. I hope he does ESB and ROTJ whenever he gets the chance. So I can have an alternate way of watching the set that I have. Thank you guys for your help. :)

I can copy and paste and add four question marks too, Gul Idbtao -.- .

[sarcasm]I like how your first post is a month-bump and a copy and paste job with four question marks added. [/sarcasm]

Some might consider it spam, others might ignore you (click the ignore button and then they never see your posts again. This is your first post so you might not have known that). Regardless, you made a bad first impression here. We have no idea if you are a bot or someone who genuinely wants to join the forums. Just be glad that it was me making a joke about your first post and not TV's Frink. He is not as forgiving as I am. *cue ROTJ Imperial March*
