Help: looking for... a general empire strikes back fan edit - a question and advice

so i really like some of the fan edits i’ve seen (adywan’s version of a new hope was awesome, and has replaced both the original and the blu ray (shudder) in my rotation,  and i found a really nice somewhat despecialized version of return of the jedi that i like (sorry i forget who to credit for that- but it kept the original band, but a lot of the blu ray stuff like blinking ewoks).

anyway, i was looking for a better empire strikes back edit, I like everything about the blu ray version except the scene with the emporers hologram. I’ve found really nice HD versions of the original theatrical version, and own the orginal dvd and blu rays, but was looking for something more along the lines of just that one change.

ispent hours scouring over the listed changes on the edits, but i thought maybe someone could point me right there?

thanks in advance.

Harmy (presumably the source of your despecialised ROTJ) has also done the whole OT in the same way, including ESB. It's as close to a HD OUT as we currently have.

Adywan's Revisited ESB is still delayed but he did do a different despecialised ESB (I think it was to tie in with the 30th anniversary back in 2010) with a very different colour mix which I enjoyed a lot. It was SD but as you have enjoyed ANH:R so much that shouldn't be a problem.

It's very crisp and bright but I'm not sure how available it still is.

***UPDATE*** here is a link to the Adywan version I was referring to.

Sounds like the RotJ you have is Q2s.

Preferred Saga:
1,2: Numeraljoker extended
3: L8wrtr
4,6-9: Hal9000
5: Adywan

^on closer inspection I think you are right, sorry I was distracted when I posted earlier.

ESB is generally considered to be the most finessed of the OT so fan projects tend to be either despecialisations to some degree or preservations.

Other than the silent movie versions and War of the Stars 2, I don't think I've actually seen an edit of ESB.
