If this is in the wrong place please re-locate or notify me and i will relocate it to the proper place. Working on my preservation project, jump started my mind about other things that could be preserved. Does anybody know of, possess, know where to acquire, the Robin Williams 1978 HBO Comedy Special uncencored and unedited? I ask this because i saw it many years ago on HBO, it was hilarious, then i saw it on Comedy Central obviously edited for tv. There is something special about this particular special that struck a nerve with me and i have been trying to track it down ever since. The content is some standard early robin williams standup but there are some pieces that are sheer brilliance. If anyone knows how to get ahold of it i would be forever grateful plus i you would be one the first one(s) to recieve a copy of my restoration project apart from the people who are already asked first.

P.S.
More info on the special-there are numerous shots of celebrities such as Henry"The Fonz" Winkler, John Ritter (RIP), and Joann Worley during the show, if that helps.

If it helps, it was officially called "HBO On Location: Robin Williams - Off The Wall" and it mainly consisted of material from the "Reality... What A Concept" album. I think it was filmed at the ROXY, wasn't it?

Thanks DrFaustus for the info and yes it was filmed at the roxy, i know it is mostly stuff from the "Reality...What a Concept" but his timing and the improve he did was just perfect. Do you have a copy or know of anyone that has a copy? I would really like to get my hands on this special as it brings back some very good memories for me.

Thanx

Oh, man. I wish I had a copy. Unfortunately, I don't. I remember seeing that program when we first got HBO in the home. I was about 9 or so and I was shocked that MORK was so foul mouthed an funny. It was a defining moment for me, to be sure! Good luck on the project and, if I come into anything, I'll let you know.
