Hey folks,
New to this site but not at all new to Star Wars. I bought some laserdisc rips of the OT about 7 years back on eBay, and now they’re pretty damaged. I’m looking for anyone kind enough to direct me to downloads so I could rip my own? I would greatly appreciate it!

I am certainly sad to hear that you had to "pay" for Laserdisc captures on eBay. You won't find anything for download like that here but I bet if you keep your attention to projects going on in this section of the forum you're bound to find what you're looking for.

There are considerably better preservations available now, and you should not pay for anything (selling is strictly forbidden here). Start browsing around the threads - there's a lot going on.

Yes, never buy anything like that from ebay. The sellers there are usually just taking the work of others (which has often been shared for free) and sells it to make money of it to themselves. There are always places on the web where you can find it, like myspleen.
