Hi all,
I heard that the “IAMMMMW” broadcast on TCM tonight (in the case of east coasters, it’s already aired) has deleted scenes re-encorporated into the movie that are not on the DVD (well, in the movie at least.) Has anyone or can anoyone capture it?

The extended release is on VHS and is just great. I keep waiting for Robert Harris' restoration to be complete so we can finally get it on DVD.

Did you hear Stanley Kramer's estate is gearing up to produce a sequel? It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad MAD world? No joke.

I heard there was a remake coming, not a sequel.
Interesting.

It was already remade. Watch "Rat Race".

Oh, I've seen RatRace - wonderful movie. But anyway, the thing is that it wasn't so much a remake as it was a rip-off. I heard there was going to be a real remake

They say it's a real sequel. The descendants of the characters in the first film learn the treasure that was dug up was counterfeit, and so begins the chase for the *real* loot.

A good premise, albeit a cheesy way to start a sequel; will this one have an old bag too?

Oh I hope so. I could see Bea Arthur playing one to great effect.

There is extensive discussion about this on hometheaterforum.com and the word from Harris is that nothing is happening.
