The program I used to convert some videos for work is called SUPER. It's available at http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html. I have no idea if it's a good encoder or not. I only use it because I work for a small company and it's free. We can't really afford to buy expensive tools like Adobe Premiere that we're really only going to use for video conversions. Anyway, that program will convert most anything to any format.
Good news. The college I went to is sending me home to do advanced studies. So I'll have my Super-Fast Broadband connection back, and I can upload the full 1000MB videos with little to no problems. Just give me a few day to get back home, all right?

You do know that unless you're on DSL, your super-fast broadband connection is staggeringly slow for uploads, right? It may not be as bad as a 56k modem, but it's not as lightening quick as the download speeds are either.
Bad news. ANH was just rejected because it didn't comply with Google Video's policies. I said it was only for educational purposes, but I'm still trying to figure out what to do about this...
I got to peek at ANH before it got pulled. For the compression, it was still detailed enough to be usable for comparison purposes. Thanks for uploading it.

More than likely because it's still a copyrighted video.
