Help Wanted: Original Jabba footage - HELP NEEDED — Page 2

Miss-read you were looking for Han/Greedo dialog.  Was the character called Greedo from the dialog you remember?  Maybe your looking for the Third Draft (again the Starkiller site: http://www.starwarz.com/starkiller/scripts/thestarwars_third_draft.htm )  search for " 57 INT. PIRATE STARSHIP - MAIN PASSAGEWAY"  This is kinda like the gun showdown with Greedo, but significantly different.  (there's some other Jabba scenes before and aft)  If this ain't it, then there's something in between which i'm not familiar with.

No, it was Greedo.  It's what was shot on set, that was later re-written and re-worked in post after the Jabba scene was cut.

The only differences were in Greedo's dialogue, and one or two lines of Han's that were taken out completely, and it didn't have the "Even I get boarded sometimes" line (which was lifted from the Jabba scene).  The scene was re-written in the script when they made the change (after shooting).

If I could get all available sources in best possible quality, I would combine them with Laserdisc, DVD and Blu-Ray footage and try to recreate the scene in HD, like Harmy described how he made his despecialised reconstruction of the movie in this Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHfLX_TMduY
