Help Wanted: Can anyone do a STORMTROOPER imitation

Hi I’m the editor on a fan edit of Ep. II titled “Shroud of the Dark Side”, coming out this fall. It’s the most extensive Star Wars edit ever done, and part of it involves dubbing new voices for many characters, for various reasons:

1. Anakin Skywalker
2. Lama-Su
3. Nute Gunray and companion
4. Jar-Jar Binks
5. Mas Ammeda
6. Jedi Analysis room robot
7. Uncle Owen
8. Boba Fett (?)
9. Clonetroopers

I have yet to find an actor for the clonetroopers, and I was wondering if any of you could help. Since accents are learned and not genetic, I would like the lines read with an American accent, like the ones in the OT. If any of you have a decent mike and would like to help out, PM me- I have some very interesting dialogue for you.

I think that's an awesome idea, and I'd love to be able to help. I just don't have any recording equipment.

How decent does the mike need to be? I imagine you'll be doing something to the audio to give it the filtered, radio broadcast effect that stormtroopers usually have?

Actually, that's a really good point. I am adding that effect, and also the intercom clicks (to match the OT). So yeah, actually the mike doesn't have to be that great at all. I'd imagine even just a computer mike would work. I'd be so grateful for anyone's help at this point! Just drop me a PM if you might be able to help.

What kind of new dialogue have you written for the stormtroopers, Trooperman?

EDIT: Now that I think of it, I HAVE a cool old microphone hooked up to my computer. My brother does a lot of music recording on my Dell so I know a thing or two about audio recording.

Let me know what you'd want me to record and I'd be more than happy to, Trooperman.
