Here’s my VHS list of things I have. I have the equipment to do it, but not the time or expertise so I’m posting my stuff here for anyone who would like to help me out. I’ll send you the tapes, all I want in return is a copy of the DVDs. You can even keep the tapes. Looking for someone who can possibly clean them up a bit and use good artwork for menus. Some of the stuff I have has been seen before but my quality may be a little better.

Star Wars Comedy Tape
The tape starts out with a talk show spoof entitled “Leia” featuring a Princess Leia action figure with its mouth moving. Topics featured: Make Friends with your dad- (Darth and Luke) and Bury old Grudges (Han and Lando). There are some Kenner Action Figure commercials and then a short with action figures called “Luke Gets Laid”, very strange stuff. We next move on to some European/Australian kiddie show that has Billy Dee Williams and Carrie Fisher surrounded by a bunch of puppets that keep asking them stupid questions about the Star Wars films. Next up is the complete Star Wars film done with action figures, it has music and narration. This is very strange indeed. The tape then shows us three small films: Hardware Wars, a bizarre Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind parody, and George Lucas in Love. Star Wars inspired skits follow, such classics as: Billy Crystal in the swamp with Yoda at the Academy Awards, Jabba The Hutt on the Conan O’Brien Show, and SNL’s Jimmy Fallon singing about Mace Windu. This is followed by a clip of Carrie Fisher in full Princess Leia regla on an older edition of Saturday Night Live. The next thing on the tape is very, very, funny. An “Odd Couple” parody featuring Darth Vader and Chewbacca. This is followed by the Cops inspired “Troops” and then a mini-fan made movie entitled, “William Shatner Lent me his Hair Piece”. Now onto more SNL sketches featuring Kevin Spacey in the now infamous “Star Wars Screen Test” skits. A skit follows this with Mark Hamill on the Home Shopping Network.
