Hey everyone…
Some of you may remember over a year ago, I released the two disc set, STAR WARS: Symphony for a Saga. That release was a huge success…and actually was so popular, many MP3 sites list it as an offical release…believe it or not.
Anyways…some of you may also know that I have been revisiting the project and improving it. So far the single and suite for TPMv2 has been released. Just today, I am releasing the single for AOTCv2 entitled…“Anakin and the Senator”. Check it out here, http://musicofstarwars.tripod.com
But some may also remember I wanted to turn this project into the ultimate Star Wars music video…sort of pumping up the idea from STAR WARS: A Musical Journey. Well, I have had quite a few people interested in helping out…but the project has been stop and go…with everyone essentially dropping out.
So, I am wondering if anyone is interested in assisting me with this project. I’m looking for a video editor who can work with me creatively to create a high end product in the end. Hopefully…the entire project should be about 2 hours 30 minutes by the end. The project would not just be images set to music, but carefully planned sound FX and dialogue. I don’t have the time to really do this on my own…as I would have to learn how to do everything…so know-how and a good demonstration piece is all the resume needed.
I think this project has the potential to stand out and on its own from the crowd. Let me know if you are interested.
Also, I’d like to ask for some artists’ help as well. I need some help creating cover art for the music releases. One artist from another board has already begun helping create the ‘Single’ covers. I’d certainly like someone who can create some very classy looking ‘Suite’ covers for all six films; another artist who can create two album covers…one for the PT and one for the OT.
If all plans work out…I have some original ‘concept style’ art being painted for the two-disc album and the eventual DVD case.
If anyone has questions about this project or would like to help out…please let me know!
In addition…I would love to get feedback on the work already posted on http://musicofstarwars.tripod.com
Thanks!

I really want to get this but the downloads on the site dont work :(
My Youtube Accounts OfficialPeterFisher http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialPeterFisher and JediMasterFisher http://www.youtube.com/user/JediMasterFisher
I downloaded the files from your Filefront page but there doesnt seem to be a TPM suite. Also I downloaded your edits awhile ago and the files names have a "v2" in them. Are these the same versions or different?

Hi all...
The v2 is a rework for lossless audio and a remaster of missing music and the OT soundtracks.
I've been meaning to re-up all the missing audio links, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I will be working on that soonly-ish. I just have had a hell of a year. I moved, changed work, and we had our first child in December.
The good news is I think I have ANHv2 close to finish. A few edits need some assistance. Hopefully I'll get around to do an ANH Single here, including an OT preview, with a drastically improved ROTJ sound.
Thanks to those that love this work. If anyone wants to make the music video for this, I'd love it...but I have no real time to devote to it. Have I ever told anyone I live and work with my wife in a group home? Yeah...that should answer those questions about time.
Todd-
Thx for all the hard work! Cant wait for OT v2!!!! I listen to SOTS almost daily... I know its sad... lol

Okay, Rob...
Here's the single for ANHv2, along with a special bonus track. Enjoy
I also re-uploaded all the files. Let me know if there are any problems.

I assume I will have to register to obtain these sets as I just get to a generic page everytime.
Seems to be working fine for me, at least in firefox. Didn't have to jump through any hoops...
404 on the FLAC TPM... but the mp3s are good.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
Thanks for the heads up on the 404. Just messed up on the link. FLAC suites should be working now.

If you click the FREE USER button, it will take you to the download page. Ignore the advertisements, but watch the countdown in big bold letters. When the countdown ends, a download button will appear. Click and the download commences.
Sorry for the stupidity of RapidShare, but its the easiest thing to use.

I was attempting to download them via Opera so under your recommendation I flipped over to Firefox and the popped up like a flash so thanks for that.
I am looking forward to giving these a good listen.
My only advice in terms of doing a visual version is avoid any shots of lips moving without speach, it really breaks the mood and is visually jarring (silent movie buffs will note that silent films with spoken scenes without speach cards at regular intervals look very strange).
If you want to keep up with the action replace those shots with conceptual art matching the scene.
On a side note could you use your music editing skills to produce a couple of variations of the Anakin theme which blend in pitch, pace and with element additions of The Imperial March etc, to reflect the change from the innocent boy of Episode One to the near Vader of the middle of Episode 3 (and perhaps even a triumphant version intercut with the Force theme for Anakin redeemed)?
This came up as a suggestion in the Radical Prequel Redux thread but might also come in handy for people re-editing ROTJ.
It would also be nice to have a longer form versions of the Imperial Motiff from ANH and the Droids motiff from ESB (two musical elements which sadly were not revisited in later films).
