Help: Looking for... original version of the Darkwing Duck episode Double Darkwing

There exist two different versions of the Darkwing Duck episode Double Darkwing, and only the latest edit is available on DVD.
I haven’t found any good explanation why they did this change. I would love if someone happen to have the original version in English.
