Help: Casino Royale (2006) 35mm prints and foreign languages

Casino Royale is my favorite movie of the Bond saga since I saw it in theaters but I have a doubt in my mind. I remember hearing a few words in Italian in the scene where Bond is in the hospital. Also some words in French in the casino. Did the 35mm prints that were shown in theaters have burned-in subtitles for those scenes or any other?

On the DVD the subtitles are not burned-in as seen in these screenshots. How was that subtitled in the theaters, or was it not subtitled at all?:

I would assume if they were subbed in theaters they’d have forced subs on the BD. Since they don’t, and they’re not even subbed in the SDH subs, plus that the dialogue isn’t really important, I think it’s safe to say they probably weren’t.

You’re possibly right, but the only way to know for sure I think would be with a 35mm print. I remember a similar case, “Minority Report”, in theaters there was a sentence in Swedish that Dr. Solomon said to Greta and it was subtitled like this:

Wipe your ass and get out here.

On DVD and Blu-ray I think it only appears [Speaks in Swedish]. That’s why I’d like to be sure.

How was this subtitled on the open matte HDTV copy of Casino Royale?
