I thought it was more recent than that. Apparently it never stuck because he's still acting. Maybe he just needed to register with the Sex Offenders Db. Dunno for sure what happened, just that he was accused.

IMDB states he paid a 14 year old boy to pose for erotic photographs, and had some child porn material at home. Now is it me, or every celebrity has gone pedophile lately?

Sad, isn't it? I can't imagine doing that or what it would take to build up the desire to want to take part in child pornography. I keep hearing cases lately about people being brought up on child porn charges and it makes me sick. This one lawyer from McHenry, Illinois, just got busted for it. My wife used to babysit for his family.

Personally, I think it's a witch hunt. Jeffrey Jones, Paul Reubens, and now Michael Jackson. Someone has an agenda, and as MJ put it in 1995, "Tom Sneddon is a cold man."

I doubt that, but I still argue that it's a witchhunt. Tom Sneddon is the ADA in San Francisco County, and held the same position when Jackson's first set of charges came up. I've seen this guy in press conferences, and he comes across as the type that wants to "clean up" the Hollywood area. Guys like that are not to be trusted, espcially since it's their record of convictions, not whether or not those convictions were properly obtained, that determines whether or not they keep their jobs. The case against Paul Reubens was pathetic, but Sneddon would've found a way to make it stick, hence the plea bargain.

Was Sneddon the ADA in the Reubens case? How did he get assigned? Wasn't Paul Reubens busted in Florida?

The most recent Reubens case, where he agreed to be registered as a sex offender for 3 years, in exchange for the DA's office dropping the possession of child pornography charges. The stuff in question was 50s era Barely Legal-type smut, but Sneddon would've made it stick. In the Florida case, he pled no contest so that he wouldn't have to go to trial.
