Here is what I want:

The sony's are still pretty damn good.

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Currently all I have is the generic apple headphones.

But I really like sennheiser ear buds.

Those MDR-150's are still my on the go headphones, but I switched to primarily using these Sennheiser HD-202s. Sound is much improved at the same price point. ($20) I use these for personal listening and even as my vinyl headphones. best inexpensive headphones I've ever come across.

I've used a pair of Sennheiser like that model back when I was in the college radio station, but I felt the sound to be slightly lacking and they were freaking uncomfortable!

I just can't do earbuds. I use flac on my Sansa Clip+, so why sacrifice sound quality of headphones?

Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting some good sennheiser headphones, you can't have a box of Telarc recordings and listen to them on bad equipment.

I thought about making this joke but couldn't figure out a good way to express it.

Rob let me borrow it.

I was kinda expecting a response from Rob with this post, and then I realized it isn't 2007 anymore.

Me too.

Since they're like poetry, what with the rhyming and all, I find that I only need to watch three out of the six films.

Me too.

I once had a pair of these. I ended up selling them for more than I bought them. I regret selling them.

Anyone tried the new Sennheiser HD 518's and know if they are better than the previous HD 515's? I had a chance to listen to some 518's and they seemed pretty damn good, but never heard them in comparison to the more expensive 555/558/598/595. Everyone says the 515's suck compared to the more expensive models, so I'm just wondering if the 518's are similar or improved.

Then you're doing it right.
