I have written and mailed my real paper letter, one to Lucasfilm publicity, one to Lucas and one to Fox, have you posted yours yet?

Although I guess it's too late now, but I sent my letter off a little over a week ago as well as an emal. But shouldn't this be under General Discussion?

There's good in the Original Trilogy, and it's worth fighting for.

Perhaps, but I thought the hardcore preservationists prolly hang out here.

I got told off on another forum and was told that OT fans would rather whinge and whine than actually make an effort and take some action, and I thought that was BS, so hence the post.

Okay, it's shit like this that totally annoys me. Just because we actually care bout he movies, we are accused of being whiny. These sites **cough**TF.n**cough** are run by a bunch of PT happy, SE swallowing brownnosers who rave no grasp of first generation Star Wars fans.

Yeah I agree, that is why I thought I would show 'em that we are people of action, not just whiners.

Dear Lucasfilm,

Thank you for releasing the original unaltered trilogy on DVD. I have been hoping for a DVD release before my laserdisc player died, and I'm excited to have this opportunity for an upgrade. I hope you see the demand for the theatrical versions of these movies. I'd love to see a high quality HD-DVD or Blu-Ray release when the time comes.
