you must have not read my post,I got years 1 & 2 Ultimate sets yesterday,just need to watch them,we are going to within the hour.

Not sure I agree with this statement though,your edits are NOT Blu-ray quality by a long shot,and how do you know the quality exactly without actually watching them for your self? they just came out,more to come later.
You misunderstand, I wasn't referring to picture quality. My comment was with regards to the cuts themselves. The ABC edit has poorly framed shots, bad overdubbing, continuity errors, and many other issues.
If you read the first post, you'll see what I'm talking about. ADM didn't have a few transitional bits the ABC cut has, but he fixed some basic problems ABC just didn't bother with.
The issue is that whoever assembled the extended cut was a hack. That cut should have been scrapped, not released on DVD (assuming it really is the exact same cut).
Quality-wise, my cut is only fair at best. There are compression and broadcast artifacts among other issues. I would definitely consider re-doing this from a better source if I had access to the source material, software, and know-how.
