Harry Potter IMAX revisited (a WIP)

Hello people!

I’ve been editing the Harry Potter franchise with two co-editors for a while now, we’re not professionals, not too serious, just for fun and to entertain those who are interested.

You might think “imax? But they were never released digitally or on disc with imax”, thats right, its not oficially imax, we use the open matte versions of the movies, which are versions where the sides in some shots are cut off more or less than others, but you dont have black bars, so some shots have a lot more image and others don’t, and what I do is combining the ones with much extra image with widescreen scenes which don’t have alot of extra image in the open matte together so that you get as much image as possible.

Also I add movie effects called framebreaks, where you can see objects or people go beyond the black bars of a movie.

Right now the only finished/early fi ished versions are Deathly hallows 1 combined with part 2 and about all released deleted scenes, also with draco malfoy’s redemption scene (low quality) and aberforths alternate conversation with harry, ron and hermione (more book accurate)

Also I have multiple versions for deathly hallows part 2 imax edit.

And currently in the works are:
Chamber of secrets (90% imax+deleted scenes+numerous framebreaks you havent seen ever before)
Half-blood prince (?% imax (can’t say yet)+deleted scenes+numerous framebreaks you have never seen before)

I am only 16 and am not a great editor but I see on reddit people really seem to enjoy my edits, so I want to continue making people happy with these, and I can’t thank everyone who watched my edits already enough.

I can take a look at that.

Edit: it will take a little while, probably will do it today but I’d have to redownload both the open matte and one of the edits itself because I store them on drive because of low storage capacity on my devices.
