Harmy please, we will all be dead by that time

I know we will. But I’m willing to wait that long if that’s what it takes!

Ol’ George has the GOUT, I see.

By the way, I hereby withdraw all previous complaints about the color in 2.5. I redid the settings on my TV last night, and it turns out I’ve had the warmth up waaaaaaaaay too goddamn high for the past however-long-it’s-been-since-I-played-with-settings. I kicked it back to a neutral level and now 2.5 looks gorgeous.

Incidentally, Empire 2.0 still looked great with the crazy warmth. That might have been why I assumed the problem was with Star Wars 2.5 and not my hardware.

Yeah, Empire generally has colder colors, so it would look better than SW with warmth too high.

EDIT: Am I funny?

According to a really unfunny person in the Anti-TFA thread, I’m unqualified to answer that question.

I own the blu-ray and VHS format of Star Wars, but it’s getting harder and harder to watch my fuzzy VHS’s and especially all the edits the 2011 version has. I’m looking for Harmy’s DE version, but I am very very very new to all of this. Can someone PM with some guidance on how to get the Private Torrent version. I know a myspleen invite is required, but any help will do.

Thanks!

I was wondering if let’s say I wanted to burn these onto a BD-RW what would you recommend Harmy? I want to make sure this is burnt properly on a BD for the best viewing experience on an HDTV.

By the way Han shot first.

The introductory guide linked to in the first post is very good, but perhaps a tutorial on how to create a BD out of the MKV should be added? This question seems to pop up a lot in this thread.

Cheers

Hmm… I just burned these a few days ago without seeing this post. I used TSMuxer to output to Blu-Ray Disc then just burned the ISO with Imgburn. The disc played fine as far as I can tell. What would be the advantage of doing it your way? Was there a loss of quality in the way I did it?

ISO output vs folders? No, it’ll be the same thing.

Well, actually, ISO may be a little better, since it’s easier not to screw up the burning process. But content-wise, definitely the same thing.

No difference, it’ll be identical.

Not trying to be picky or anything (I love harmy!), but any way to fix these colors? Notice the not very blue sky, the not very pink faces, and all the YELLOW! Did someone urinate on the blue ray sources?

I’d fix this stuff myself if I knew how!

There will be more color corrections and all that jazz in the later versions. Just give Harmy time. In my opinion, the quality of the overall movies comes first. But I totally understand what you mean. There are a lot of people on the forums who are color-correcting the shishkebab out of the movies at this very moment so… if you are in a big hurry, you might want to check their projects / tutorials out.

Thanks for the response. Was this problem introduced on the blurays, or was it in earlier DVD releases?

Never noticed that, someone should fix it.

I haven’t been paying attention to the BD projects here in this thread but thought I should mention that if you have integrated (real) seamless branching somewhere on the disc then it is imperative that you burn from the disc image in order to maintain the physical disc layout and prevent skipping during playback of the branches. With the right authoring software it will interleave the 2 branches so that they occupy a similar space on the disc to prevent the laser from having to bounce around. Otherwise, yeah, about the same thing.

Luke threw twice…maybe.

You able to see both suns from your window, or do you have to wander outside at dusk to see that?
