Hi all, first post here, and of course, warmest thanks to Harmy and everyone else who worked on a project!
I have an annoying problem though - files play just fine on my PC, but my TV with built-in codec, reading it of external USB, crashes when I trye to play these! Which is strange, because up until now my TV was happy to decode any single matroska file you throw at it.
I have done a Mediainfo comparison between some MKV files that are OK on my TV and these Harmy's Star Wars files.
SOME RANDOM MKV WORKING THROUGH MY TV:
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : High@L5.1
Format settings, CABAC : Yes
Format settings, ReFrames : 8 frames
Codec ID : V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC
Duration : 1h 59mn
Bit rate : 4 848 Kbps
Width : 1 280 pixels
Height : 544 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 2.35:1
Writing library : x264 core 56 svn-667C
HARMY'S SW FILES (NOT WORKING):
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : High@L4.0
Format settings, CABAC : Yes
Format settings, ReFrames : 3 frames
Muxing mode : Header stripping
Codec ID : V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC
Duration : 2h 1mn
Bit rate mode : Variable
Bit rate : 7 038 Kbps
Nominal bit rate : 7 504 Kbps
Maximum bit rate : 25.0 Mbps
Width : 1 280 pixels
Height : 720 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 16:9
Writing library : x264 core 80 r1376kGIT 3feaec2
Since these two files are made with the same video codec, AVC, (and same audio, AC-3, I checked), I assume that it's something to do with the matroska container file that my TV doesn't like? Any suggestions how I could try to fix those so that my TV can decode Harmy's files?
Thanks in advance!
