OK, so when applying my own resynchronized French subtitles with time-codes based on frames, I’ve noticed what will also cause audio sync issues : there are 2 moments with frame differences between this new workprint and v1.0.
-
The 1st one is a 2-frame difference that occurs at frame 68664 or 68666 (frame number noted from VirtualDubMod). The very end of the spaceship shot right before you see the 2 guys walking down the corridor.

The 2nd one is a 1-frame difference that occurs at frame 141781 or 141782 (frame number noted from VirtualDubMod). The very end of the shot where you see trees lying on the ground, right before you see an Ewok running away from stormtroopers right on his tail.
Maybe it’s the same thing like before, when the GOUT PAL DVD is different in frame count than the GOUT NTSC DVD. Anyway, I don’t know wich frame count was used for the audio tracks on v1.0. Was it out of sync then and will it be right on this time? Or is it the other way? You guys are the ones to adress to about that stuff. I’m just the reporting guy.
