Have you met my friend - The Joker?

With all due respect, I think he knows that. He's not going to winning any acting awards and, quite frankly, I think that he's more than happy with what he's got. And so are we. Lucas, on the other hand...

Yep, Happy 59th!!!

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

I have a lot more respect for Mark than any other actors I can think of. Mark seems a really cool down to earth guy. He gets a lot of crap about not having gone anywhere, but to me it seems he sticks to working on the kind of things he likes. It doesn't even seem that he has sunk really low like a lot of actors, he has made appearnces on many sitcoms, countless voiceovers for video games and cartoons, and he has done a lot of work on comic books. And I think he has produced a few things also. He has a family that he hasn't abandoned or screwed over (at least last I heard of) hasn't had countless trips to rehab for drugs or alcohol (again last time I checked), which is about all you will hear about Hollywood these days. Also there is not much you can say about his acting ability if you compare him to many of todays crappy actors.

As for Harrison Ford's career, has anybody here seen Firewall? I haven't. And nobody has told me I am missing anything. The last time he was in some good original movies was back in the days of Patriot Games, since then he has been in nothing new (well, not until something called What Lies Beneath, but lets not talk about that ).

From the snippets I've seen, he was pretty cool in Cowboys&AnalienProbes.

Well, at least the man has done something with his career. Mark Hamill was great in Star Wars, but did he do anything big after it? Anything noteworthy? I think not.

He was in a car crash that to some degree hurt his movie star good looks.

Also, starring in the biggest movies of all time do tend to limit your opportunities somewhat afterwards.

Both those being said, he's had a fairly interesting and diverse career post-SW. Frankly, I wish he worked more. I enjoy him in everything.

Happy Birthday!

+1. And in regards to his career - my Aunt saw him in The Elephant Man and said he was terrific. The force will be with him...always.

It'd be really cool if he did work for The Clone Wars.

Really cool.

Keep Circulating the Tapes.
