Yes, I bought the steelbook, but it stays unopened on the shelf. This is the see version for me.

Agreed, my default also, whether the DVD had the right colors or not.

Nevermind. Tried using different software to rip the download. Worked fine after that. :) Thanks for the post! For some reason, the Spleen wouldn't work for me, no matter what I tried.

...official release of the Halloween 6 Producer's Cut!!!

 :o

That's pretty cool, but I've already bought Halloween three times, II and III twice, and 4 and 5 once. I don't think that set is for me.

...now maybe if they sold a disc that just had the TV version of Halloween, and Halloween 6 producer's cut, I could use something like that.

But there's probably a better chance of hell freezing over than that happening.

 FYI, that happened already.

Does someone still have this Blu-ray? Myspleen says there are no seeders left and the links on tehparadox are dead as well. :(

Yes, it is still available and seeded on the spleen.  Just check back regularly.

Hi all, Halloween is up there and thank you Andrea for the work/thread.

The Laserdisc commentary with Carpenter, Hill, and Curtis was released on on the 25th Anniversary DVD, right?

Also, I read the 1999 THX versions (both theatrical and extended) contain the correct mono track. Can anyone say which releases have the correct mono track? (I've skipped some versions)
1) 1999 THX DVD Theatrical
2) 1999 THX DVD Extended
3) 2001 (THX?) DVD Extended (re-release)
4) 2007 (THX?) DVD (Don't know if this contain the Theatrical, Extended, or both) (re-release with slipcover)
5) 2007 BR
6) 2013 BR
7) 2014 BR

This link contains some details on the mono and fold-down differences:

Below are some good links for Haloween,

http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=937
http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=11773

I like the 1999 THX Extended version (PQ/AQ) and am waiting for a HD version of the Extended (as opposed to the TV cut) with mono track. (If you know, "they" said the transfers/masters were in SD for the TV parts, but that isn't what "they" said in 1999, opps!)

Cheers!

Andrea, if you do an extended cut for next Halloween please look at this shot of Loomis near the end… he has some discoloration on his forehead that’s sort of dark and gray/green or something.

That’s the one thing that does not appear in any other version I have seen so far.  Thanks again!

Is that in the [spoRv] version? If so, it could be caused by the colourmatch script, and went unnoticed...

Yes, that's from the [spoRv] version, and it's the only anomaly present... in an otherwise perfect presentation.  If you ever decide to do a new version, please consider including the extended scenes because they are AWESOME!

Grr... just for few frames... maybe I need a pair of glasses, or... review my projects NOT in the middle of the night! (-^,)

About extended scenes: don't know, a lot of projects are waiting to be made... can't promise I will do that, but also can't say the contrary!

it just sent me to the main forums page.

You are asking an awful lot of people around you but you don't seem to want to help.  That does not bode well here, especially if it means that things might have to be purchased.  I uploaded audio I didn't have to so we could try and help out.  All you wanted was the links, you didn't even look to see that you needed to sign up there and it was free.

If all your looking for is free handouts you may want to try another forum.  I'm not trying to be mean, just honest.

I am moving on to other things.  Good luck with your search.

I fixed the link to the thread too.

what did i do wrong i know i wasn't asking anyone to make any fanedit this time just better links to a currant fanedit. now it just seems like people want to be critical of me now for the little things too. i understand about the other things but the little nothing things give me a break.
