Our new edition: HIGH TENSION - minus one edit will very soon be finished. The trailer will be online on Pirate Bay probably today. This time we will release in 3 languages (french, german, english) for more people to enjoy a movie, finally with a plot straight as an arrow. If you have seen the original you might know how tense it was, until a stupid plot twist destroyed everything. Our edition will not be for the faint-of-heart, but an extremely thrilling, creepy and bloody ride. Take care. Watch out. …and never open your door when a stranger arrives late at night.

how do you download @piratebay?i just registered to get Hannibalized and this High Tension,i was going to get the HT trailer but no seeds,so i went to Hannibalized and it kept erroring out,no download,is there a waiting period there?

If Piratebay does not work for you try Torrentspy and/or Mininova (It is the same tracker anyway). As download client I prefer BITLORD or AZUREUS or BITCOMET. There are people around here, who send DVDs for the price of the DVDr and shipping, but none of our group, as we want to stay as anonymous as possible.

Is there anyone capable of french out there? For HIGH TENSION Minus One Edit, we made an English and a German DVD cover so far, but since the original movie is french AND the french version is on the DVD it would be really nice to offer a french DVD cover as well.

As you might realize, this one is not for the faint-of-heart.
We changed the plot, so don't expect any stupid twists and turns, this one is straight as an arrow and it hits for a kill, for sure.
Scenes from the unrated edition have been included to keep the tension as high as possible. Enjoy a great movie.

The CBB group was founded in 2004. We love movies and we especially love good movies AND we don't mind editing them for our own pleasure, just to watch them over and over again. Usually we pick movies that were disappointing to us or hunger for major improvement. Of course nothing we do compares to the original. We are amateurs and do not have the skills AND definetly not the commercial interest of professionals. SO this one was not meant to be bought or sold, but for viewing pleasure only. If you like it, buy the original and compare.

Since the trailer was downloaded by all in all NOBODY (sigh), it is no longer online. It seems you have to dl the DVD if you want to. Currently the DVD has been downloaded about 1000 times and is well seeded.

I've been waiting for someone to edit this movie into something great for a while. Such a great movie up until the last minute.

Nice work, boon, but am I right in thinking you didn't include English subtitles? I can't seem to find any on the disk.

So it can only be watched in French without subs or in dubbed English? This is a huge oversight, as most people would rather (edits aside) watch it the way it was originally intended - in it's original language.

Shame too, as you did a great job apart from that, but personally, watching a dubbed movie ruins the experience.

A few people have already mentioned the missing subtitles and I think you are right. Perhaps.... sometimes ... they will be added.

rip DVD --> 30 min
extract movie and audio files to mpeg2 and ac3 files --> 10 minutes
multiplex video and audio files --> 5 minutes
encode to avi, so subtilte program works properly 1h
write subtitles (with help from original subs of course) 4h-10h
re-author DVD to implant new subtitles (have never done this but it is supposed to work) 2h

time needed: at least 7 1/2h

If I may ask, where did you get the artwork used for the disc? I'd like to make a new cover for the existing DVD as it looks a bit meh when I pull it off the collection shelf.

Honestly....there is maybe about 10 minutes of actual talking in this entire movie. Subtitles arent really needed at all, and since you ripped out the beginning, there will hardly be any talking at all. So to write subtitiles for this i would say you are looking at maybe max 1hour. But to everyone who is worried, dont be. As i said you wont miss a thing! The talking in this movie doesnt add to the story at all, and about the last hour and ten minutes theres no talking at all.
