Oh yeah, me too Warb but Leo was one of the good ones! Looking back at some of the old posters who aren’t here much or at all now makes me feel a bit melancholy. I hope we get a few old faces coming back over the next few weeks - it’ll help offset the inevitable troll invasion.

I just cooked a delicious cheeseburger at home. I fried it in butter and mixed ranch into the meat before cooking it, but I didn’t cook it for very long. It was still pretty pink in the middle, but it was so damn good. I took a few bites and realized that it probably wasn’t cooked hot enough to be safe, so I threw it back in the pan for a minute, and then ate the rest. I don’t know that it was cooked to the minimal 160 degrees that it takes to make it safe, but I chowed down anyway. It was one of the first times I’ve ever cooked anything worth eating! Anyway, if I disappear and don’t come back that means I probably died of severe food poisoning. We’ll see, but hopefully I’ll be okay.

I enjoy eating burgers with a fair bit of pink inside. No one else in my family will cook burgers like that – indeed, they like their burgers cooked dry – so if I want a burger to my liking, I often have to cook it myself.

Yeah, when I was younger my parents always cooked hamburgers all the way through and without butter or seasoning or anything. They didn’t even put cheese on them. Other than ketchup, there was no taste, so now that I’ve discovered the magic of a good home-cooked meal I realized how good burgers can be.

I don’t like any pink, but you’ve got to have butter and seasoning. I don’t even use real butter I use the fat and cholesterol free fake stuff but it’s all good enough for me.
I don’t think it has to get all the way to 160 for beef to be safe. I don’t like any pink tho

Burgers should bleed when you bite into them. It’s already dead, don’t torture the poor thing.

Oh, uh, I’m back in case anyone hadn’t noticed or was wondering.
It seems the TFA: Restructured thread (which I follow pretty closely) had a few spoilery bits dropped in there at one point, but other than that, my running away and hiding from the Internet for almost a week may have been an overreaction. Meh.

Yeesh, I can’t stand it no more - I’m going away until the trolls have dispersed. There seems to be so many of them this season. I’ll definitely be back though, I love the “normal” members of this site! Do try and be nice to one another 😃
