Yeah, but the man also called America the great Satan. AND SAID--

And I am not exactly full of my self, and I understand where that statement comes from, but its really sad, that me as a 14 year old knows more (im not talking about anyone on the fourms, but in general) than alot of people 10 years older than me. Its the way our society is going---and I don't like it one bit.
Ummm.....Also, do you know about the 1000 year Reich (Empire) how in the hell would he achive this goal without wiping out America on the other side of the globe? We could not co-exist, thats for sure.

You can only have an empire when you control the entire world? The romans never had an empire because they didn't control the entire world.

You have shown yourself to be not only ignorant, but also glib. You clearly have very little understanding of Hitler's goals and aspirations. He was obsessed with developing long range bombers (such as the notorious Amerika bomber), missiles, and other technology in preparation for this event. This was one of the primary topics of his unpublished second book. More importantly, HITLER DECLARED WAR ON THE USA DAYS AFTER PEARL HARBOR. "Hitler only wanted Europe" may be one of the most ridiculously ignorant and silly things that I have ever a person claim in the midst of a political argument. You have zero understanding of what Hitler wanted. Hitler wanted to racially cleanse all of humanity in order to put the "Aryan race" in control of the future of mankind, that was to be the great Third Reich. Read a book for Christ's sake. Like many folks nowadays, you are an ungrateful fool. Were you under the impression that our uncles and grandfathers were cut to pieces on various European beaches for shits and giggles?

Why do these liberals always like to change the subject, could it be because their argument is usually weak?

This is a perfect example of how closed minded you are. I simply say savages and you quickly asume I am speaking of all Muslims. You are the one with an issue. Although I disaaprove of the Muslim way of NOT speaking out against the radicals within thier community, I did not proclaim, at any point, that they all were terrorists. You did.

Good Lord. I don't have time to argue with so many opinions. However, I would just like to state my own point of view here quickly:

1. "Global Warming" is not the threat that people make it out to be. It is a mildly interesting phenomenon, but one that we have virtually no affect upon as human beings (as far as we know through our current science). According to the actual, hard science, we also do not know if our world is even in a warming period or a cooling period at this very moment. The science is simply too unclear. All we can say for sure is that climate change has always existed on the earth and that it never hurts for us to keep it in mind (just so long as we don’t politicize it for selfish reasons).

2. If human beings are polluting the environment in unsustainable ways, increasing the global CO2 levels is probably not one of them. Though I think we can all probably agree that pollution from our cars and factories is still undesirable (plus, I don't like how we're consuming all of the "fossil fuel" on our planet), and so it would be a good idea to invest our time and money towards discovering real alternatives. What we need to remember though, is that placing a handicap upon our economy in nonsensical ways (like with "Kyoto") will only slow down our technological progress, not speed it up. If we want a technological advance, then we should encourage it in positive ways.

3. The war in Iraq was a very good thing because Saddam was a sitting upon lots of oil and that oil was going to translate into wealth and that wealth would have equaled far too much danger. Unfortunately, the Bush administration didn't want the war to be about oil (as it actually should have been) and now we're fighting a much more questionable battle today.

4. The Islamic world is pathetic and not worthy of our fear. The sane nations should be fighting to kill their warriors and their ability to threaten freedom. If we win, it would be a nice blow to Islamic moral as well. Fighting to give them democracy and "freedom" is obviously a nice goal, but not one that I believe we can accomplish in the way that we are currently fighting. I believe that, at best, we can only take actions that will support democracy in that area of the world. All people (no matter their culture or where they live) can eventually see clear costs and clear benefits when they are presented. We cannot force democracy to exist where it will not first be appreciated in that fundamental way.

5. The Islamic world is inferior to the Western world. On the whole, they behave irrationally at every turn and cannot be reasoned with regarding reasonable issues. They not only frequently desire and frequently act to kill us, they also frequently desire and frequently act to kill each other. Their countries are ruled by murder and intimidation. The best course of action to take against that kind of evil would be to contain it as best we can (while encouraging good behavior as I stated in my previous point).

That's what I usually find, and if they really can't argue they dismiss you as being "ignorant"--oh, if only we REALLY understood.

And back to the Palestine thing. Why is there such sympathy for these people? They continually get booted out of regions because they're just too much of a problem. And where is Israel's "colonialism" or "Empire-building?" Hell, they just gave up a whole bunch of land that was settled by Israelites, and now the Palestinians live in this modern homes like squatters. The Palestinians never did anything with the land. It took Israeli ingenuity to make desert into an agricultural haven!!! And, do the Israelis brainwash their women and children into walking into coffee shops and discos with bombs attached to them? No, of course not!

The Palestinians deserve nothing for the way they act, and yet the liberals in the Israeli government continue to appease and give concessions to these ingrates. I don't feel a bit of sympathy for the hateful, crybaby Palestinians. I'm not into Zionism, but damnit, the Israelis have actually done something with what they were given, built up their country, educate and advance while the Palestinians are mired in aged dogma and stagnate in barbaric response with weapons they can only steal or propagate from shady sources.

Why do liberals admire the criminal and the wretched all the time? Even in this country they bemoan the execution of prisoners by lethal inject, claiming the criminal "felt pain" in the last seconds of his existence, yet don't decry the pain and suffering and horror that the victims the criminal enacted their violence upon. I know the true monsters... the ones who defend the rapists and killers.

And back on topic about GW. I don't see it as a problem. Yes, we should discover new energy resources. I'm all for that. Fuel will eventually run out, but you know what they say---"necessity is the mother of invention"---but you can't create that mother out of government pressure and cramming it down our throats. We'll deal with that problem when we get there. The human spirit is so amazing that I have no doubt we'll overcome it.

I think that everyone has already made it clear that the only people we are calling savages are the muslims that DO want us dead, the ones that have made it apparent with violence and treachery. Most muslims are peaceful, and we have no problem with them. But there are lots of people out there, that ARE muslim, that do want all of us dead. In the end, all wars find thier roots in religion. Holy Wars never died out, they still rage today, fiercer than ever.

Well, dude, I usually agree with your opinions, but you express them in a way that is detrimental to getting your point across. There are ways to expression anger and frustration over far-left ignorance without coming across as an angry little kid. No need to type in all caps and swear at people. If their opinion is ill-informed enough to warrant a reaction that bad, it will usually speak for itself.

Edit: And let me ammend that to saying you USUALLY express yourself in a way that's detrimental. Your past few posts have been much more reasonable. I definitely agree that the generation of teenagers today is less liberal than those in their late twenties, and that gives me a bit of hope for the long term sanity of the country.

I don't think it's that "liberals" admire criminals, they just don't think we should become "criminals" in response to it. It's more about maintaining integrity than it is about protecting criminals.

This thread has helped my mindset a lot. Reading how many people here agree with each other, except for the occasional nut, I think America will be a good road in about ten to twenty years after we get over this liberal, global warming, politically correct, socialist attitude of our current news media, universities, and glory hound politicians.
