It's still a good debate. Whoever He's Back is, he isn't exactly trolling just yet. Saying that the ESB sets suck is moving into trolling, but for now he's just a spammer.

Marvolo, I'm not mad at all and I'm sorry if I sounded mad. It is so difficult to express yourself by just a typed message (plus english is not my first language).

Wow, Nanner Split, I didn't think anyone would still know about my little ehmm... mistake about the 9/11 conspiracy thing. I got a bit carried away then.
EDIT: When you say you can't take my political views seriously is that because you're not sure if I'm playing around a bit? If that's the case, that 9/11 thing was the first and last time I did that.

But about discussing things at this forum, there are huge differences of opinion but I hold no grudge against anyone. Everybody should just say what they think.
When I say I hate George Bush I mean I don't like his ideas and decisions. But as a person he seems like such a nice guy to hang out with. And I really mean that. I don't care how much your opinions differ, at the end of the day you still should be able to have a barbecue together and have a good time.

EDIT: I think He's back! is Obi Jeewhyen. Although, since I read the other threads I don't think so anymore.

This I completely agree with. I don't like Bush's ideas about the way we should fight against terrorism, but he seems like a nice guy to have a conversation with and hang around. And I am glad you aren't mad about my thoughts on enviromentalists, and I know what you mean about expressing your self through typing. It is hard sometimes.

Another thing, george bush was behind 9/11 because he wanted to find any excuss to send troops to iraq so he was very thankful 9/11. don't know for sure if he had it planned but he screwed up his relationship in the middle east so it was his fault.

Yeah, let our great, great grandchildren worry about the global warming thing, it will have no effect on us. I just hope our great great grandchildren will learn to think for themselves. Imagine by that time, if things stay as they are now, we will have a planet with two governments, one will be the side liberal left wing side that believes everything little thing CNN tells them and the other will be the conservative right wing side that takes their opinions about everything directly from foxnews. Creepy thought. By this time the controversy will be about Global Chilling and the fear of a second ice age. One of them will probably say, "I also wanted to state that if it takes 300 years for the planet to freeze then guess what? None of us are going to be here in 300 years so what is everyone worried about."

I said that to be sarcastic because I don't believe in global warming it is just the media blowing things out of proportions.

One problem with climate change is that the best climate scientists still don't know too much about how the climate works. The fact is though, that it does change and it does change for the worse, at a much higher rate than was predicted only ten years ago. Most of us on this board are going to be affected by climate change eventually. Anybody who believes otherwise is just kidding himself.

We may not know too much, but we know enough-
Should I restate the facts like I said them earlier?
Scientists have observed and have come to the factual conclusion that their have been other climate changes (major ons) for millions of years-----Its no oil company lie---also, Darth Lars--we did not know as much 10 years ago as we did now! We are constantly finding out new things------we are way beyond what we knew an entire decade ago!
Im pretty sure me and the millions of others who think this way are not "kidding" themselves.

I think we can agree that no matter what we believe there is a chance because of fossil fuel burning we change the climate but it could also be a natural change. We just don't know enough about it. But if there's a chance WE chance it shouldn't we do something about it, just to be sure? The chance there will be a terrorist bomber on the plane you are flying is very very very tiny. Of all the millions of flights, how many have been blown up? Yet the rules and restrictions for flying are ridiculous nowadays. What is the chance your plane will be blown up with liquid explosives? It's next to zero but I can't even take a bottle of shampoo in my handbaggage. This fear of a plane being blown up is also completely "blown" out of proportion by the media. I may take a little ammount of shampoo (or any liquid) in transparant plastic bag now. So, why arn't we a bit more careful about the climate change which could affect millions if not billions on our planet?
