Midichlorians were at odds with the conception of the force that many people formed after watching the OT. As a result, many disliked the introduction of the concept, as was their right, I’m sure you’ll agree. (Just as it is your right to approve of the concept, see it as perfectly consistent with your longstanding interpretation of the force, etc., if these are, indeed, positions you hold.)
Given your interest in SW, and time and effort you spend interrogating other people’s opinions, surely you must know this. Why be obtuse?
I figure what the response may be, but what I would like to know is whether it’s based on just someone’s idea of the general feeling of the concept, which I would disagree with based on the idea that the OT had already developed the idea of a family line having it, but I think they have their God given free will to have… or if it’s the, to me, not very strong argument that midichlorians are the force, when the movies refers to them as if they’re separate things.
