…in word if not in deed.
The Flanneled One was thusly quoted:
Quote
"I am very concerned about our national heritage, and I am very concerned that the films that I watched when I was young and the films that I watched throughout my life are preserved, so that my children can see them," said Star Wars creator George Lucas, who doesn’t mind tinkering with his own classics for special edition re-releases.
So you see, he actually believes that we’re doing what’s right, protecting our childhood memories, preserving film history and national (galactic?) heritage, not just for ourselves but for our children.
Mod Edit: a working link for the article above can be found here:-
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

Da Governator!
I think it's nice to have Schwazeneger as a governor of California. He's not as right-winged as many republicans are, he can be laughed of and get the blame for anything bad he does in the office, and he cannot be elected as president, so there's no danger in that happening.
"Mr. Governor, we need to know when are you going to meet with the union leaders, they demand 20% up on their benefits. They demand to arrange a meeting with you tomorrow morning."
"Well ya can tell those wimpy little mahns thaht I'm going to kill tham personally, with my beahre hands!"
"Mr Governor you cannot solve all the problems of California by the use of violence, bodybuilding contests, or machine guns."
"Oh yeah? Take dis!" (punchs his secretary on the face, his head explodes)
"Hasta la vista... baby."

Yes, but those were monochromatic scenes. It only captured the absence or existence of light, not the colors itself.
