There’s a certain type of fangirl that is drawn to horrible people. There are fangirls for the Columbine shooters, the Boston Bombers, and even Ted Bundy.
Are you seriously comparing fans who have an unrequited crush on Hayden to those sorts of deranged people? Hayden seems a nice fellow who more than likely hasn’t harmed a soul.

but Hayden didn’t have a tragic romance with Padme, or have anything to do with Obi-Wan. That led me to believe Winter was talking about Anakin.
I’m sure Hayden’s a cool guy, but Anakin wasn’t. Having a crush on Hayden; I understand. Having a crush on Anakin is hybristophilia.

Thanks for explaining that. I didn’t know the proper clinical term either. I think there probably is a difference between a crush on a fictional evil character, (so long as you know the difference between fantasy and reality) and the real thing.
Dave Prowse is supposed to have gotten a lot of fan mail in the early days from women who wanted their own personal dark side seduction from Vader.

Don’t know but the things Rian has said about the film has me pretty darn excited. But to he honest I don’t want another “good” installment into the Saga; I want something next level and I think Rian could be the man to give us that.

I like TFA. I like Rian Johnson’s previous work better than J. J. Abrams’s. Therefore, I am expecting to like TLJ at least as much as TFA, probably more.

Just snagged a copy of the ANH GOUT for $6 at a record/comic store. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it for less than $35 before now. Also, five Bantam-era novels for a buck each. It was a cool day.
