Best I can offer is a few seconds of Spock in TRM.

I'd like to see the scene immediately following this one, where Kirk gives Vader a karate chop to the neck, stuns all four stormtroopers, then makes out with Princess Leia.

Opening crawl to this grand tale.
Overall, it seems that Star Wars sucks. Being a fan, I think that is the worse thing about the last 15 years. For a good long time most of the products were pretty damn good (OOT, original Kenner toys, Zahn Trilogy, the X-wing and TIE Fighter video games). Then, sometime in the late 90s, things went to shit and I would say 9 out of every 10 Star Wars products is absolute garbage.

That's not exactly "random".
It's more like "the kind of thing you say often".

Lol. I suppose that's true.

Recently listened to the ANH Radio Drama. Pretty damn cool, as the extra bits add some great insight to Leia and Luke, and overall it feels like Star Wars if it was a miniseries as opposed to a movie. Hell the first hour of it is all stuff that's not even in the movie. Still need need to listen to ESB, and ROTJ, though that the latter was made so much later, without Mark Hamill, and incorporation certain elements from the EU makes me a bit wary.
One of my professors just posted this on FB:
"teaching is like trying to blow up the Death Star, you can say the same thing over and over and over again, shoot your lasers all you want, but unless it hits the right spot at the right time, your students will not learn. Use English style capitalization for titles, bew!, the title of long works go in Italics, bew!, the title of short works go in quotation marks bew!, quotations over four lines long use long quote format bew!--use the force Brad, use the force . . ."
Apparently my horrible math instructor will be giving us all a problem involving the Millennium Falcon on Friday. I wish he wasn't such a god-awful instructor, because otherwise it'd be pretty great.
I had to explain what the Millennium Falcon was to the two girls sitting next to me. Heartbreaking.
Keep Circulating the Tapes.
END OF LINE
(It hasn’t happened yet)
You should have quoted Han Solo ad verbatim; "You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon? It's the ship that made the Kessel-run in less than 12 parsecs."
Unless that's what you did.
Oh man, if they had tried to make Star Wars educational when I was a kid, that might have killed it for me. ;)
If Trooper TK-421 only has eight shots left in his blaster, and five are needed for proper disintegration, will he have enough shots for Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen?
If Han Solo dumps his cargo of spice to avoid getting caught, and the street price increases by ten percent before he can repay Jabba, how much more will he owe?
If the Death Star torture droid injects Princess Leia with ten cc's of truth serum, how long before she sells out the Rebellion, thus ending the film prematurely?
If Darth Vader grabs a rebel by the neck, how much pressure must he apply before the rebel's neck snaps?
How much water can Wuher safely add to his drinks before his Cantina patrons catch on and kill him?
If Porkins can safely eject from his X-Wing fighter before it explodes, how many minutes before he dies anyway?
Where were you in '77?
Just finished the two radio adaptations of ESB and ROTJ. A bit disappointing as they don't have nearly as much extra material as ANH. Still Empire is a bit better in terms of what they did add, as other than a cute cameo with Arica and some fun references to Shadows of the Empire, there's not much to Jedi, especially given that Mark Hamill and Billy Dee Williams aren't involved in it.
Vader constantly having to provide exposition about actions is hilarious; you make a drinking game out of the number of times he narrates what he's going to do Luke next.
I had a similar experience, but worse. Let's see if I can remember what happened:Tyrphanax said:

That, 005, is really strange. I'd think that Daniel 2 is a nice counterexample.

Context is everything. I had that exact lecture but it came off really well in my heathen class, there was cheering and goat blood smoothies and everything. Maybe the professor recycles material from previous teaching positions?

Great name by the way Catbus. MNT always makes me cry. Such a wonderful film.

A parsec is 11 trillion kilometers. The Maw black hole cluster is a mere 0.5 lightyears away from Kessel. Assume its gravity is pulling at 299,792,458 meters per second squared. From the Si'Klaata Cluster to Kessel it is usually an 18 parsec trip, following the course laid out below:
In order for the Millenium Falcon to make this run in 12 parsecs, how fast would it have to travel?

Yeah, Jedi adds very little. It was completed 13 years after ESB radio drama. Daley was actually dying as they were recording. They held a party celebrating its completion, which he attended, and he died later that same day. I suspect he didn't have the energy to expand upon it the way he had before. I still enjoy it, but ANH is the best of the radio dramas.

It would be pretty awesome to go from 0 to lightspeed in one second!
But then, wouldn't you turn into light?**

^ I see Adywan's AT-AT model for ESB:Revisited is coming along nicely.
