You're a nutter, it looks like. That's ridiculous!
I like most of the overall ideas in Star Wars Rebels, but I deplore the lackluster animation quality. Surely Disney has deep enough pockets to make a 3D cartoon look decent?
Pity that 2D animation has seemingly gone with the Dodo to the Land of the Dead.
I'd gladly pay to see a top-quality SW animated film in the vein of 1959's Sleeping Beauty... or the Fleischer Superman shorts... or, heck, even The Curse of Monkey Island.
But you know what would be even better? Doing that nine times.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

Exactly my point.

Coming from someone who thinks ATMachine probably needs to cut down on the late-night coffee drinking, I see absolutely nothing ridiculous about wanting to see Star Wars in a 2D animated format. There's nothing wrong with 3D animation, but it shouldn't be the only form of animation allowed to exist.
Hear, hear!
It was a sad day when the House of Mouse stepped away from its roots.
And yet... if it were to jump in the opposite direction... it would be a frabjous day indeed.

Disney has plenty of hand drawn animation on it's channels. Rebels is following on the heels of TCW, and probably inherited the pipeline created to support that series.
The TCW micro series was done in 2D.

I think B-Rex is going for some sort of oblique-stately shtick, and his dry observations and haughty ripostes should be taken for nothing more than the droll doggerel they are.
That reminds me, I've got an Idol of Many Hands here, and the pirate leaders haven't shown their faces for a while.
SilverWook: Good to know! Perhaps there's hope for the future of 2d animation after all.

I figured that I would share some opinions towards Darth Vader:
First off, I love this guy. He has always been my favorite character of the Star Wars franchise. I was first exposed to this character in 1997 when my five year old self went to see the Star Wars trilogy in theaters.
Out of all the characters, Vader stuck to me the most. He was cool looking, intimidating , had an awesome commanding voice, a red lightsaber, and those breathing sounds, which sent chills down my spine. I also was very interested in how his suit operated, seeing all the buttons/gadgets on him. Nowadays, I still like him. I see him as more of a tragic figure who makes the great sacrifice to save his son (which is pretty much accurate).

Actually, I chose it because of a joke and that sad fact that I used to like the 1998 Godzilla. Nowadays, I have more distaste towards the film. It dwindles from my mind every time I watch it. I'll never change the username though, because I associate it with so many things (for example, my artworks).
I'm also a big fan of the real Godzilla, he's my favorite franchise with Star Wars being my second......

Ah, I see. Unfortunately, I know your pain.
The Rifftrax show of G'98 was hilarious though.
The Clone Wars did it's own Godzilla homage.

I just found out about a deleted scene where Padme shows Anakin her family. I never knew about this before.....

Holy cr*p! Action-figures got good these days...
VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.
That's not an action figure--it's just the DNR on the upcoming Blu-ray re-release.
With what those Hot Toys figures go for, I expect the saber to light up and Obi Wan to glow in the dark. ;)

I've been waiting to read an article like this
http://ca.ign.com/articles/2015/03/06/between-the-panels-how-to-avoid-past-star-wars-eu-mistakes
for a very long time.
Too bad the comments section is packed to the brim with fail, though. Seriously, it's like reading the tripe spewed from religious fanatics.
Gosh, it's too bad there aren't any EU threads...
Alright, that's it -- I'm creating a Random EU Thoughts Thread.
I hope you're happy now, Frink.
"Mom, we sold the pot! Look at all the money we have."
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
^What are you driving at, Pseudo-Kirk?
Is the EU not a part of Star Wars? O_o
Yes, but Frink is ridiculous with his appraisal of it. That's in keeping with his nature, though, so I don't hold it against him.
