I don't think WASP means what you think it means.

It's actually an acronym, you know.  ALL CAPS tends to mean each letter "stands for" a word.  A word pertaining to the thing to which the acronym is employed to refer.

You have failed to employ this particular acronym correctly.

WAS just doesn't have the same ring, and W certainly doesn't.

"Legends" is the new banner under which parts of the franchise that are no longer canon will be kept right?

So I LOLed when I saw this on the shelf of my local supermarket today...

Yippee!

Hasbro has been using Saga Legends since before Lucasfilm applied a new meaning to Legends.

Spoilsport! ;-) It still gave me a little chuckle while I did my shopping.

Isn't that the new post-Disney-aquisition packaging though? Did Hasbro not get the new "Legends" message then?

I think, in this context, "goy" is probably better.

White Anglo-Saxon Protestant

Yeah, I'm aware that ol' Ewan's not Anglo-Saxon, and he may or may not be protestant. Of course, seeing as the term's already been applied to figures who don't meet all of the implicit criteria (H. P. Lovecraft -- a decidedly non-protestant atheist -- for example), I don't feel the need to stick with the absolutely objectively literal form of the definition.

Saga Legends is the 2013 line. The Legends announcement didn't happen until earlier this year? The current line is skewed more towards Rebels now.

It doesn't mean White Albannach/Scotsman from Perth?

I was watching the Rankin/Bass Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer. When the abominable snow monster of the north showed up I at first thought. It kind of reminds me of the wampa ice creature. Then I remembered that Rudolph came out in 1964.I am now wondering if George Lucas got the idea of the wampa from the abominable snow monster.
