This does all sound great, but Arya is my favorite character and all of your earlier talk pretty much indicates that she dies. Is that still your plan? If so, as awesome as this all sounds, sigh, these are just not for me.

OK, well, then I would love to see these. I own every DVD of GOT. They are stacked up with my favorite shows. I didn’t hate S7 or S8 (but it certainly had issues – shoulda been 10 eps each and fleshed-out stuff, dangit). Sadly, sigh, I’m assuming like most (read: all) fan-editors, you’re cutting out Gendry/Arya? (Although, it was hinted at in the show, and heavily so in the books!) I just want to be prepared for the disappointment. Double sigh.
I am curious to see these with the LOTR music, but are you still at least retaining the iconic GOT theme song?

Very soon. The film is actually done. The only obstacle is that I have one or two things to sort out with FILM IX that need to work within the continuity of the final three films so that nothing ruins the continuity of certain things that will and need to happen in the story.

I re-read your review now and thank you once again. I am thrilled when people like this project in paticular, since it’s my passion project. These are the edits I definitely take the longest time to finetune as I want them to be near perfect and exciting for each release.

Film VIII, The Retribution of Queens, is now RENDERING and VERY SOON RELEASED.
Thank you for your patience. My PC crashed just before i traveled to Thailand, and now I have had it fixed upon my return home. So now it’s rendering - and nearly done.
Hope it was worth the unfortunately long wait.

Part 9 not so much, as it’s only audio transitions left to do and some minor re-scoring. As for Part 10 - well, that one is quite a beast. I have the “worst parts” done, like a major Bran event, but the ending parts of the “Good Ending” Version needs more work.
I might release The Dark Ending before The Good Ending tho’ (and i’ll give them better names xD )

The one that makes you feel the best. 😉 The last two parts are going to be in two seperate folders, and you download the one you prefer.

This whole, massive project sounds perfect for me. I’d like to check out GOT but… just can’t commit to the time involved. And there’s and added joy of taking in someone’s undoubtedly laborious fan editing the way it’s best tested: totally blind and ignorant of the source material!
Is there anything I should be cautioned about before starting? I know that the series is incomplete, so I imagine I’ll watch what’s been done so far and then maybe again when the next installment is finished.
Also, could I get a PM?
